Booked in last minute as I was looking for something close to kenepuru hospital , this place is only a 3-5 minute drive away. Very great place to stay, close location to shopping centre & Bob is amazing ! So lovely indeed. Would definitely recommend staying here again
Rooms were nice & clean. Staff was helpful & assisted w/some minor issues. Great location, across da street from Mall & near town. ** Two Story Bldg, but No elevator.

Was staying there during Kings birthday weekend for the night, came highly recommended, upon check-in the young lady at reception was very friendly, gave us the swipe card... the room was huge, had 2 rooms for hubby and I and a friend... really comfortable bed... The price we paid was in $US which was slightly high... as I didn't see the motel website, but next time will book from the actual motel website as the prices are cheaper... This place is close to the mall, a few fast food restaurants and also Dennys... This place is well worth staying at if you ever go to Wellington...
This is mine and hubbys favourite place to stay when we come Wellington ways (quite often) for events. Nothing fancy but is comfortable and has everything you need. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The location is just across the road from the mall so that’s super handy too.
The room was clean and tidy and even though it is close to a main road it was quite. It's also close to the Porirua shopping centre where there are cafes and restaurants for meals. My room was upstairs and there isn't a lift so if you have difficulties with stairs ask for a room on the ground floor. There was no issues with check in. I would have given it a higher score but the wireless internet was slow and spotty. These days people expect a good internet connection both for business and leisure. Speeds of 4-5 megs don't cut it in my opinion.
Nightmarish stay, be aware of bedbugs!!! I recently stayed at Amethyst Court Motor Lodge on a business trip, but it turned out to be a complete nightmare. Little did I know that these were signs of a serious bed bug infestation. As the night progressed, I found myself covered in painful, itchy bites. The next morning, I wanted to tell the staff , but no one was present at reception. To add to the horror, I had to seek medical attention upon returning home, as the bites got infected and required medication. I am still recovering a week after my stay, and the experience has been distressing both physically and mentally. On return home I contacted them regarding this issue with photo evidence . To my disbelief they did not care, apologise or offer a refund. I highly advise against staying at Amethyst Court Motor Lodge. The health risks associated with bed bugs are severe, and the hotel's lack of response and concern only worsened the situation. I urge the management to take immediate action to address this infestation and improve the overall conditions of the hotel. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will be warning friends and family to steer clear of this establishment.
Heat Pump boxes on the outside makes the complex look ugly, but inside the rooms are very clean and tidy. Free view only, across the road from shopping centre so very central. Very helpful lovely staff
Super comfortable stay. Clean and tidy room, well stocked kitchenette and nice big shower. Will definitely be back next time I have business in Porirua! Great location, right across the road to the North City Mall and within walking distance to the town centre. Good parking, amenities were fantastic and good selection of rooms with spacious two bedroom suites if you are travelling as a family. Staff were great. Thanks team.
I really enjoy staying here and make a point of staying here every time I come to Wellington now. It's very comfortable and clean and I'm noticing little improvements each time I visit. They just need to limit the amount of water escaping from the shower stalls onto the bathroom floors. Wonderful staff and a very quiet and relaxing environment and very close to all the amenities you could want. Be sure to book ahead as it's a popular venue and they fill up very quickly.
