Had a really refreshing stay at the ibis Wellington! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A huge highlight was the morning breakfast buffet, it was amazing and had a great variety. Definitely a solid choice for a stay in the city

We stayed at Ibis hotel in a twin-bed room, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience overall. The room looked very old and poorly maintained. The bathroom did not even have basic amenities like shampoo or toothpaste, which was quite surprising. On top of that, the hotel elevator was extremely noisy and honestly felt unsafe, as if it could break down at any moment. Breakfast was included in our stay, but it turned out to be the worst part of our visit. There were very limited food options, especially for vegetarians and those looking for halal choices. The coffee machine kept breaking down every 10β15 minutes, creating long queues of at least 10 people waiting each time. The scrambled eggs were not good at all, so we requested boiled eggs instead. They took a very long time to arrive, and by the time we finally managed to get coffee, the eggs had already gone cold. The most unpleasant experience was when we drank water from the glass provided in the room β it smelled like rotten eggs. That was the final straw and completely unacceptable. Overall, this hotel is definitely not worth the money you pay. If it were possible, I would give it minus 5 stars. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just had 3 nights staying at the ibis. A little bit dated but that wasnβt as issue at all. The beds were super comfie and the room spotless when we arrived. The restaurant down stairs was food with for me the fish in a curry batter the winner. The Ibis is very well located in the cbd and a short walk to all the cbd has to offer. No shortage of cafes or bars plus a flat walk if you are going to Sky Stadium at all. I look forward to staying there again A big thank you to all the staff who were warm and friendly.

It was a disappointment for us. Among many options, we chose a well-known hotel thinking we would be comfortable for one night and that it would be the best choice - but we regretted it. As you can see in the photo, the chair was disgustingly dirty, covered with hair, and we didn't even sit on it. Even the worst motels show more care than this. The toilet and bathroom smelled bad, and the water system didn't work properly. We felt very uncomfortable. The kettle's plug was almost impossible to reach - I guess they placed it there so guests wouldn't use it; I've included a photo of that as well. Honestly, we deeply regret choosing to stay at the Ibis Hotel just to have a comfortable night. The breakfast option was nice. My husband doesn't eat eggs with milk, so we asked for plain eggs and they brought them right away. That was the only good thing.

Great location, easy 3 minute walk from airport busstop, close to heaps of cafe's and restaurants but everything closes pretty early if you check in late make sure you catch dinner before. Staff were lovely. Room was very clean and tidy and smelled so fresh. Got probably one of the worst room views room 404. Window looked directly onto a wall, but that is my only complaint. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable room, nil view - looked out onto walls of adjacent buildings, and the toilet needs to be fixed as water was running all the time and it wouldn't flush. Had to give it myself by lifting off the cistern lid. Still, clean, comfortable beds and I will he happy to stay again.

Great central location, beautiful rooms, super nice staff, delicious hot breakfast! This hotel worked out great for us. I appreciated the amenity dispensers instead of single-use plastics in the bathroom, but having just 1 product for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash doesn't work for me. I wish more hotels would provide conditioner. I'll definitely stay here again, I'll just remember to bring my own toiletries!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Three minutes away from the waterfront. The cable car station is also nearby. The staff was very friendly, especially the receptionist named Deborah was very friendly and helpful. The hotelβs restaurant is alright but too expensive for the quality and the portion sizes of the food. The only downside was that my room had a door to the room next to mine. Unfortunately, I could not lock the door on my side which made me feel uneasy and through the door, the conversations could be understood without any issues.

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Wellington, look no further than the Ibis hotel. It's no secret that Ibis hotels are known for their simplicity and affordability, but this particular location offers a little something extra. Firstly, the location is unbeatable. You'll be situated right in the heart of Wellington, with easy access to all the city has to offer. Plus, if you're traveling by car, you'll be happy to know that the parking situation is fantastic. No need to worry about finding a spot on the street or shelling out for expensive parking garages. When it comes to the rooms, they may be basic, but they are certainly comfortable. After a long day of exploring the city, you'll be happy to retreat to your cozy and welcoming room. And, of course, the breakfasts are something to write home about. Wake up to a delicious spread of hot and cold options, perfect for fueling up before a busy day of sightseeing. Overall, if you're looking for a luxurious stay with all the bells and whistles, this might not be the place for you. But if you're after a comfortable, convenient, and affordable option, the Ibis hotel in Wellington is an excellent choice. You won't be disappointed!
