Brony's is a wonderful place to stay. Lovely old style beach house with garden leading directly onto the beach. Immediate access to train station and shops and cafes. I stayed on 4 seperate occasions during my time in NZ and will 100% be back on my next visit.
Just what we wanted for our trip from Waihi . Huge thanks to Brony ,and keeping iconic homestead going in its original state. Plus the village amenities close by add to not wanting to leave.
Awesome place to stay!! Everything sorted. Enjoyed my time here. Bron, Carol and Paul are so down to earth and are there to help you with anything if need be. Fish and chips, Indian , Thai and a wonderful Deli located directly across the road!! Pizza?? prepare to not eat it all from the big salami. Fully stocked Four square there too that sells beer and alcohol. Beachfront? is exactly what it is! beach right there! Sooo cool! Outdoor shower and toilet suited me best. Loved it no problems whatsoever. Thanks for having me guys I really appreciate it !! Totally recommend!! :-)

The host Brony was welcoming, wonderful location great sea views and easy beach access.
This is my home-away-from-home when I arrive & depart NZ each year. A comfortable, civilised place to decompress in good company by the sea. Good value too. Beautiful "village" location with convenient connections to Wellington.
One of the nicest place a stayed at. It is more home than just an accommodation. I liked all little details in rooms and kitchen area. I regret weather was not good enough to enjoy garden and veranda, both looked so lovely. Breakfast had all you can desire. It was much nicer to stay here rather than Wellington and enjoy calmness of the neighborhood.
Brony's is ideally located in the midst of amenities in plimmerton '- is adjacent to the beach, shops and railway station. It is a home away from home and has top marks for friendliness, cleanliness and comfort.
