This place is enormous. So big I half expected a shuttle service or at least a sign saying “You are now leaving the park.” Immaculately maintained though — very tidy, very proper, very good show. The dump station is a thing of beauty. Efficient, clean, and deeply satisfying. I left feeling emotionally lighter. Don’t ask. We slept brilliantly. Proper, uninterrupted, Wife-approved sleep. The kind where you wake up refreshed and slightly suspicious. The kitchen is… minimalist. Lovely room, plenty of space, and absolutely no equipment. It’s less “communal kitchen” and more “conceptual art installation titled Cooking Is a State of Mind.” The laundry works fine but is the least clean we’ve seen in all of NZ. Not awful — just… lived in. Like it’s seen things. Prob best not to ask what. All in all: cracking campsite, great vibes, top-tier dumping, excellent sleep. Bring your own kitchenware and lower your laundry expectations. Would stay again.

I highly recommend this holiday park; it offers excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with everything from the accommodations to the service being of exceptional quality. I will definitely be returning to this location the next time I travel from Auckland to Wellington.

I stayed here for the summer holidays with my kids as a powered camping site . I was disappointed in several ways . The toilets were not enough for the whole crowd they accommodated and it was quite messy in the mornings. The kitchen was lacking the basic amenities like sponge , cleaning towels etc which I expect as basic needs in a Top 10 park. Only good thing was the kids enjoyed the hired bike ride .

I called the 0800 number to ask if there was an option for a late checkout and was spoken to very aggressively and arrogantly by a person named Andrea . Very poor customer service. We have stayed in the past but now won't be staying at all. I have called another accommodation with much more friendly and helpful service. I will also be making a formal complaint.

Most expensive top ten we have visited and the most disappointing. It's rated as 'classic' and yet is more expensive than 'supreme'? Its in a rough area, very noisy and the facilities are hit and miss. No cooking utensils or even eating utensils. Ripped nails off my hand trying to open a door. Not worth the worth the money you spend to stay. Very disappointed.

Try to arrive during daylight as it's a nightmare to navigate in the dark and find your room. Facilities good and tidy. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. Great bakeries in the way north through Petone.

Awesome service from your staff member Meg she was so helpful from first phone call through to book a room too checking us in, giving us info about supermarkets in the area and local eateries. Top work Meg people like you on the front desk make the whole booking experience so much more easier.

Great experience staying here. We had a 6 person kitchen cabin, and was perfect for our needs. Comfy and tidy enough, check in after hours was easy. Communal bathrooms were close enough and plenty of space. The games room was very good too
