Dr Patterson always takes the time to listen to our health concerns and never rushes us out the door. I find Dr Patterson to be very personable and he’s great with my toddler. We’ve also found the nurses to be very kind too.”

Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”

“I have had 3 visits recently for what is now seen as a bulging disc but was initially diagnosed as a lumbar area muscular- ligamentous injury. The staff on 2 visits were exceptional. The nursing staff demonstrated care alongside good sound clinical judgement. The medical staff were great, communicative and supportive esp on my first visit. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. I was still in pain, but it had settled with medication action, I felt supported by the time I left. Even though I'm a nurse they were careful to explain detail to me, all while accepting my input and perceived needs. I highly recommend this service if you're in need urgently but don't sense the need for ED.”

“Just reaching out to extend warm appreciation and gratitude to the Palmerston North Ambulance Paramedics,Nurses and Doctors,Orderlies of A&E, Observation ward and Surgical Ward for all your caring and evaluation, analysis, procedural treatment, pertaining to the days I spent under your care!. And even though did not have the appetite to enjoy fully, the ,Food Catering Department presented such beautiful nutritious appealing meals. You all made me feel I was in good hands which is very reassuring when you are feeling under the weather and not functioning quite as normal!. Anyone who needs medical care from such a caring team at Palmerston North Hospital can feel rest assured they not only care for you, but from my personal experience go over and beyond to get to the root cause of your problem to get you back on the road to recovery!. “Been with Accuro for maybe 5+ years and can’t be happier. It’s a little more work than southern cross which has the automatic approvals but the benefit is you don’t need to only use southern crossed approved providers. Made a preapproval request 2 months ago and approved in a day. Payment was made directly to the provider too. Easy. The cyber security incident was tough on them but they are now joined with another major not-for-profit insurer in NZ, Unimed, and I would say the future is bright for them. Recommend you evaluate them as a provider - not for profit is the way to go for insurance.”
