Visited for an ultrasound of my foot and was a bit nervous, but I had a totally fine experience! Everyone I saw was helpful and they seem to offer the lowest ACC surcharge in the city (it varies depending on where you go) so I’d happily visit again if needed.
Horrible! I felt so uncomfortable doing my pelvic exam with this lady (I can’t even remember her name) at the wellington city place. I felt judged and it was just a horrible experience and I couldn’t even go to work for the rest of the day because of how uncomfortable this lady made me. She had no compassion or kindness towards me. I do not suggest at all
I was recommended Horizon Radiology by my doctor as the wait times were significantly better during this time. I am very happy I received an ultrasound on my back from this centrally located business. No bells or whistles but the booking process was simple and the sonographer was excellent. No waiting around. The follow up was great too. I highly recommend and am grateful they were available to take me at short notice. There are not many onstreet carparks on Taranaki Street these days but there is a carpark building just across the road.
That was the worse ultrasound experience I’ve ever had! I went in for a medical pelvic ultrasound after having ruptured ovarian cysts, the older lady who did the scan and no empathy. Was cold and not nice at all! This is a scary time for me I’ve had cysts before that have ruptured my Fallopian tubes, I told her this and she couldn’t have cared less! This scan hurt too! I’ve had 4 of these scans before so know what to expect, I told her it hurt a lot and she didn’t care at all and just was a cold wall. The receptionist wasn’t much better. Grateful they could fit me in and results will be fast but na if you were going here for your first baby scan go to pacific or even go private!

I went in for my 12 week pregnancy scan during level 3 so my partner wasn’t able to come. What is meant to be a special moment was ruined immediately. Absolutely appalling experience here. Helen was so rude to me that I left in tears. She was grumpy, rude and, wouldn’t explain anything to me. When I asked if my baby was ok she said “I don’t know it’s too early to tell”. She didn’t point out the heartbeat (I had to ask) and then again I asked does everything look ok!? She answered “like I said it’s too early to tell”. She left the gel all over my stomach and said you can go without cleaning it off. I was already anxious going to this appointment like most people would be and It’s disgusting the way I was treated and it’s shocking that someone like that works there. Reading all the reviews I see this is not a one off. Do not go there!!
Absolutely horrible service. My partner had her pregnancy 12 week scan here, the lady who ran the scan provided no comfort. When asked if the baby was doing ok she responded by snapping back that there's no way to tell! Once the scan was over she left my partner covered in gel and asked her to clean it up herself. We will never go back here and encourage other to stay away.
Won't recommend for pregnancy scans. The staff and doctor seemed aloof. She did not let me ask questions during the scan. I asked can I hear the heartbeat, and she said the child is moving so everything is alright. I could not see anything on screen and doctor did not care to explain. I wish I went somewhere else :(.
