“I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. “Awesome portions! I don’t get why there’s so many negative comments, but this shop sells a very large portion of a dish and it’s very flavourful. Honestly, for NZ$25, I got a very huge portion of rice that was packed with flavour and a good amount of yoghurt to go with chicken nasi briyani. A free jug of plain water was served and the tables were clean. Although there is only takeaway option, He saw that I was solo travelling and allowed me to dine in. The owner is very welcoming and humble man. Coming from an Asian country, I approve of his dishes and the flavours and the portion along with the reasonable pricing .”
