So much of this place's food is expired it's genuinely impressive. I've never gotten fruit that was fresh from here, and they basically make up astronomical prices. They don't put prices on the items, and charge a crazy amount of money for everything they sell. Then when you want an item breakdown they refuse to give receipts. Really hostile and disappointing.

Just arrived in Wellington and purchased 2 snapper cards from here, plus money added (cash). They took the money and gave me empty cards. I didn't realize until i tried to take a bus downtown. Had to go back the next day to demand they add the funds id already paid, and the guy at the counter said I was "lucky" his colleague remembered us, as if they could have just kept my money...then laughed when I expressed the difficulties their error caused.

Man if this is what is like in India, I like it, massively over stocked with everything including some far out pie flavors, old mate even had a TV in the shop to watch, very 1980s, pretty cool really

There were no prices on the fruit and veg so I queued up to see how much they were. $5.90 for a cucumber and over $4 for an avo so I politely said I'll leave it as I didn't really need it for my meal, just thought I would check (and like most people I'm trying to avoid the pricier veg lately with the way things are). The guy behind the till laughs at me and follows me outside and tells me if I can't afford those items there is something wrong with me. I told him there was no need to be rude. He raised his voice and started ranting about taking risks buying things and essentially putting the weight of his business on me buying these vegetables, and told me I better leave before *...he mumbled something so could not hear it*. I'm new to Brooklyn and I'm really disappointed that one of my local shops treats people this way. Obviously won't be back.

Nice guy, always has the things I’m looking for and is a good yarn.

I thought I would give the shop another go after previously visited only to find they stock mostly expired items. Sadly, it was a repeat incident - the canned pineapples were 1-2 years past their best before date. Disappointing that no improvement has been made on this matter, I won't be shopping here again anytime soon. The layout of the store is compact and gives a rather congested, claustrophobic feel.

They are so slow to serve you. You have to beckon them over to the till. They're just fluffing around. It's next to a bus stop to so most people are waiting for a bus yet they just take their sweet time to serve you. I have waited so many times and it's so rude and infuriating. The old guy with the grey hair is such a knob too. Says the dumbest things. They have this fat crackhead with pink hair distracting them a good deal of the time and she often pipes in to your transactions. It's just like they don't know how destroy my be professional whatsoever
