“Wow, what a feast! I couldn't resist ordering the chicken and chips, spicy fried noodles, potato fritter, and deep fried Moro Bar, and boy, was it a treat! The chicken was unbelievably fresh and juicy, with a super crispy coating that had me hooked from the first bite. And those fries? Straight out of the fryer and oh-so-crispy! The noodles were a flavor explosion, and I had zero complaints. Don't even get me started on the potato fritter – just $1 and the perfect potato to batter ratio, a definite must-have! And the deep fried Moro Bar? Simply the best I've ever had. Talk about ending the meal on a high note! Plus, the people here are just lovely and kind. What more could you ask for? Also a good way to support your local business.”

“Noodle Man is one of those places that you need to visit when you're craving some hot soup and great noodles. I have been going to Noodle Man consistently for the past several years, even before I moved to Wellington and what a joy this place is. Everything on their menu is under $25 which is a rare find in a city that is full of overpriced dishes with less than desired flavours. Their Beef Noodle Soup is such an exceptional dish that you'd be hard pressed to find a better bowl in Wellington. The beef is so tender that it falls apart when you try to pick it up with your chopsticks. The broth is rich, deep and full of warm spices that leave you feeling comforted after just one sip. If I could eat one type of noodle dish for the rest of my life, it would very well be Noodle Man's Beef Noodle Soup. Their rice dishes are also such great value and they really heap on the amount of meat and veges. Please support this lovely business. Capital Market is definitely not what it used to be but it deserves all the love nonetheless.”

“Got here and there's only one guy working, alarm bells start ringing. They were NOT warranted. Despite working by himself the guy got our food to us in pretty quick time. The food was spectacular! The wife had the cheese burger with was quite sizeable! I had the Roadhouse burger. Both came with fries which were well cooked. The aioli that came with the fries was super tasty and not just overpowered by garlic. As for the burgers, WOW! Perfectly cooked patties, crunchy coleslaw, tasty sauces. I was joking with the wife that I could have easily eaten the triple Roadhouse to win the cap. I could not have. The patties are huge! The venue? Very comfortable seats well decorated as an American Roadhouse would be. Very happy guy working behind the bar. I can't fault anything about this place. We will definitely be back!!!”

“I stay here frequently…. So why? The single room is perfect… a classic, traditional pub hotel room. No pretending, spotlessly clean, well appointed will all the quintessentials. This property represents absolute excellent value. Furthermore, these marvellous old pubs are a what cities were once about. The bar and food is excellent too… I received a 10% discount chit that was an added bonus for my stay on all food and beverage. Thank you…. XX”

“I like this place. I like it a lot. I didn’t actually eat in but I got the garlic butter cream they sell there and I’ve been using it in my cooking and wow it is so good. The people working there were so nice and awesome and I think as a community we should go here more like it is just a cool awesome spot. Catch me here getting falafel soon.”

The food was delicious with really generous portions, and everyone commented on how consistent it was given the size of our group. “Had a really refreshing stay at the ibis Wellington! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A huge highlight was the morning breakfast buffet, it was amazing and had a great variety. Definitely a solid choice for a stay in the city”

“A minor fault but the microwave was stuck on child lock so couldn't be used. Did ask for help but no feed back about it. The hot water for a shower took about 5 mins to arrive so if you turn on the hot then go make a cup of tea it's just arriving when your done. Awesome being so close to everything though.”

“I had to make a sudden trip to Wellington on Friday morning, so I was looking for accommodation late Thursday night. I called the hotel on Johnston Street, and a gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful, he arranged for an early check-in at 8 AM on Friday. Everything was well organised, the room was very clean, and I felt extremely comfortable during my stay. I was also able to work from the apartment without any issues. Please pass on my sincere thanks to the gentleman at the reception (the one with curly hair) for his assistance, as well as to the Indian lady who helped with my checkout and kindly kept my bag safe until I left in the evening.”

“Just ordered off Uber Eats the number one most liked Honey Chicken Rice & the egg fried rice is one of the most delicious I’ve had. It’s hot & very tasty, extremely moreish. The chicken is covered in generous sauce which is much appreciated & cooked very well. Fills you up fast too because the sauce is lovely & rich. “Spacious cafe with good food and very friendly staff. Prices are also very reasonable and it is one of the best places on the Massey campus for exterior views. It could use some more support from the University in terms of signage as the cafe is somewhat difficult to find.”

“The Sunday night roast smorgasbord is a great value quality meal in a bright open plan venue. The food delivery is fast and easy to access with large numbers of customers present. Many in our group had seconds, so plenty of quality cuts of meat including roast beef, fish and pork roast were available. The deserts were excellent as was the service. Great size meals servings making it good value for money. We tried a new meal satay chicken which we really enjoyed too. The chips were nice and crisp while fluffy inside.
