   Very reliable and consistent establishment. What you would expect from a fish and chips and asian restaurant combination. Food is decent, they accept phone orders for pickup and offer quick service. Overall pretty good value for money, wide menu variety and good drink selection.

   The man at Food Star is the absolute sweetest and is always so polite and patient. The chips are always cooked perfectly! and the portion sizes are huge! They also have great combo deals. Tried their jam filled donut and it was yummmy!

   We have been buying takeaway from this shop for years and found that their food are hit and miss. However, our favourite and seems to be good every time we order are Cheese burger, fish &chips. Haven't found the stir fried dish that we like yet. Spicy fried chicken looks nice but tastes a bit off, like using the old chicken and marinated to mask the taste. So our go to always burgers and fish& chips. Price is reasonable.

   Wow, what a feast! I couldn't resist ordering the chicken and chips, spicy fried noodles, potato fritter, and deep fried Moro Bar, and boy, was it a treat! The chicken was unbelievably fresh and juicy, with a super crispy coating that had me hooked from the first bite. And those fries? Straight out of the fryer and oh-so-crispy! The noodles were a flavor explosion, and I had zero complaints. Don't even get me started on the potato fritter – just $1 and the perfect potato to batter ratio, a definite must-have! And the deep fried Moro Bar? Simply the best I've ever had. Talk about ending the meal on a high note! Plus, the people here are just lovely and kind. What more could you ask for? Also a good way to support your local business.

   Their 'vegetarian' burger is just a potato fritter on a bun with random fruit/veg added. Sub par fries (soggy) and not very friendly service. Would not recommend

   The WORST EVER fish isnt frest was dry n stuck in my teeth. Nuggets were BURNED chips and potato fritters were yum hence the one star.

   Just went in to purchase a cheese burger and chips,recieved order,sat in car to wait for school pick up,took bite out of burger to find inside was cold and mushy,took back into shop to let them know and was told not buy burgers again and only chips because no one has ever complained about there burgers,wow,great customer service.not impressed!

   For us this was no succes. Soft/cold chips. The potato fritters were tasting of fish. The vegetarian burger was one of the worst burgers we have ever eaten. (A potatofritter with pineapple and some burger stuff on a bun) maybe the rest of their menu is heavenly, but we're not the ones who are going to try that. Sorry.

   Would have given 3.5 stars and keen to keep trying things incase I can bump it up to a 4/5. Portion sizes are good, chicken chow mein was nice but drowning in sauce. I like a enough sauce to go round but its a little too much. Vege fried rice was a bit tasteless, didn't have soy sauce at home but luckily I was able to share the sauce from my chow mein! Keen to go back based on reviews, owners seem lovely. Clear menu pics attached, heaps on offer!
