   Was only there overnight but enjoyed my stay, none the less. The shared bathroom was fine, only issue I had was the distance from the room, however, I survived. The shower was great, good water pressure, only problem was the small space & the seals around the bottom of the shower door could be replaced to prevent the leakage onto the floor. Parking my car was a wee bit of an issue, but managed all the same. Thanks heaps. Would definitely consider coming back in the future.

   I was very impressed with this hotel. It’s very reasonably priced. It’s well positioned for the centre of the city, buses, the beach and a supermarket. There is a cinema nearby and plenty of places to eat and drink. I asked for a quiet room when I booked and was given a single room on floor 2 which was perfect to recover from jet lag. It’s spotlessly clean. The shared bathroom was also very clean. The showers could do with upgrading but they were ok. The bed was really comfortable. I stayed for 6 nights and was really pleased that there was a good sized fridge in the room. The staff were friendly, helpful and available when needed. There was a 10% discount on food and drink in the bar. I ate there one night. The food was reasonably priced and I enjoyed it. I’ll stay again on my way back through Wellington at the end of my trip. Well done.

   I stay here frequently…. So why? The single room is perfect… a classic, traditional pub hotel room. No pretending, spotlessly clean, well appointed will all the quintessentials. This property represents absolute excellent value. Furthermore, these marvellous old pubs are a what cities were once about. The bar and food is excellent too… I received a 10% discount chit that was an added bonus for my stay on all food and beverage. Thank you…. XX

   Accommodation. Room 208 a single room with shared bathroom. I have stayed here numerous times. And its never been a bad stay. Some things could do with being upgraded. The mattress was dipping on the edge where everyone sits, ( I wonder if they are rotated at all, or often enough?) The blinds need up grading but were usable) I wonder If the outside building lights could be on a timer, they are very bright and shine through the less than effective blinds all night! Handy hint request a non street facing room for much less noise and light. The old sash windows block almost no sound or breeze for that matter! Overall it is exceptional value with a good location. Which is the reason I keep coming back.

   Located in the Courtenay area of Wellington, this hotel is walking distance from Te Papa museum, eateries, shopping, event spaces on the docks, and walking trails. Rooms accommodate 1-8 people with a shared bathroom and kitchen space. Thr restaurant downstairs seems popular with guests, visitors, and locals.

   Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Friendly, relaxed and enjoyable. Rooms provide what is needed for a stay with simplicity. Mattress very comfortable. Staff happy to help with all queries offering a supportive safe place to connect. Never need to travel far with 4-6 happy hour and inviting locals happy to extend great conversations. A bright bunch of people ✨️ Stayed here for 5 days w a family friend and daughter to celebrate her 16th birthday. Could not if been more satisfied with our stay. Thank you Cambridge Hotel and staff

   I Had a late arrival arranged but though a series of mishaps I was locked out of the hotel late at night with my grand daughter. Emails not received as I was on a plane. I lost my credit card and put it on hold. The amazing guy from the bar( he had actually finished work) let us in. Called someone else who had also finished work. This guy came back to work and sorted out our room. Amazing service. They arranged a late check out for us. The room was clean and cosy. I am so grateful for these guys who went above and beyond their jobs. Thank you

   The hotel has known better days. The fridge in the kitchen is leaking water on the food. The ground floor bathroom is really unpractical. The first floor carpet smell of old cigarette smoke (but they started to renew it when we were there, issue could be solved). No locker in the rooms. When you book there, ask for a first or second floor room.
