“Our beloved dog passed away late at night. Dan came out after hours and I found out he didn’t charge for it. Thankyou very much we appreciate it”
“One of our kittens developed a cough and we were able to get an appointment straight away. All of the staff were lovely and very caring. The clinic at Helensville has a really welcoming atmosphere and I would happily recommend them to anyone”
“I have nothing but praise for the vets, nurses and front office staff at Strand Vets. My cat Rufus and I have been regular visitors there for more than nine years and we have received first-class care for his ailments. I’m sorry to say he has had more than his share of problems. He enjoys his visits once he’s freed from the car and his cage. Thank you very much, team!”
“Recently returned to the District, from Torbay. My little mate dog Finnegan became very unwell. Vet Centre Ruakaka was fully booked but arranged for a consult at Waipu. Vet Pip was awesome, as is, the whole experience. A quiet weekend and with me administering prescribed meds in conjunction with prime beef mince, Finnegan improved markedly. Follow up at Ruakaka confirmed treatment a success. Thanks Team Waipu. Highly Recommended.”
“You made our extremely anxious dog feel so comfortable, by welcoming us to pop in with him from time to time to receive a little treat and weight at no cost. He loves to visit now. Thank you for your kindness and patience.”
“Great job done by team from Matamata vets yesterday. On time which always is a great start along with a professional service although 12 ex bull calves mighten be thinking that this morning. Thanks Greg and your 2 vet students”
“My pup visits twice a week and has also stayed overnight. These people love dogs! Can't recommend them highly enough. Their phone still doesn't work though, so you must contact them through Facebook. They are very responsive!”
“Would highly recommend Furry Babies Day Care to any dog owner. We’ve got our puppy during the lock down period, he was once a very shy boy due to lack of socialisation. After been to Furry Babies Day Care a few weeks our beloved puppy is growing in to a wonderfully confident dog. They are treating him as their own baby. Professional and reliable. Very trustworthy!”
“Excellent staff and affordable pricing, good communication and usually able to get appointments promptly. The staff at Carevets Kilbirnie showed such kindness and compassion when I had to make the decision to put my cat down, and made a really difficult time a lot easier. Highly recommend.”
“I can't thank the staff enough that worked here 2/04/25,I rang before you'd opened in the morning with a sick cat,you said come straight away, Billy was checked then went to surgery immediately, unfortunately he had cancer, and after ringing me,we put him to sleep before he suffered any more, obviously I'm devastated, but also grateful to the quick thinking kind staff who are so professional and caring, I don't know your names ,but I'm so grateful for your care.Kind Regards,Andrew”
“Everything was perfect, very nice staff”
“Always make room for me if one of my dogs are off color and listen to what I am telling them”
“A heartfelt thank you to Dr Karen Phillips and the wonderful CHB Vet team for the outstanding care you provided for my grandmother's 18 year old companion, Mehrtens. Anita Mokomoko and her family cannot recommend this incredibly professional, compassionate and affordable clinic highly enough. Dr Phillips, thank you for your support and kindness during such a difficult time. We appreciate you taking the time to provide both comfort and clarity when it was needed most”
“Midnight always comes home looking healthy and uninjured. By far my facility in Dunedin for overnight stays. The carers go the extra mile - one of them once told me that she’d fed my dog by hand to make sure he ate! Lovely people.”
“Took our puppy in for her first shot, couldn't have been easier..Vet explained what he was giving her and what next stages are required. Very friendly team. Even provide an afterpay service if required for easier payment options. 24hrs emegency service details are available.”
“Everyone I've spoken to has been nothing but helpful and caring, and Margaret deserves special mention for going out of her way to make sure my kitty was accommodated for at short notice. No brained to recommend again”
“Sadly, I recently had my cat Gizmo, put to sleep. Matt and his team were so respectful and caring, talking to him quietly and calmly the whole time. Thank you sincerely - Gizmos mum xxx”
“The staff at Carevets Papakura are wonderful, professional and caring. I can recommend this place very highly In the work they do. Netting was very noticeable unfortunately was their working conditions in the office area. It was extremely warm and not comfortable for anyone to be there for too long. Maybe the landlord might be able to at the least put In an air condition unit. The staff deserve that. Fingers crossed, for next time I visit there is one installed.”
“Lovely little vet clinic. Very helpful on the phone and when my partner took our cat in for vaccinations they were very knowledgeable and shared lots of useful info!”
“Very lovely and caring staff who supported us when we had to make the tough decision to put our dog to sleep. We appreciated their flexibility, kindness and time.”
“Had to say goodbye to our best boy. Broke my soul. Raglan Anexa were really there for us. Supportive and caring. Anexa Ngaruawahia is our normal vet but our cat required an urgent appointment which sadly ended with an unexpected euthanasia :-(”
“A really good vet clinic , my cat is still under treatment so I don't know about her outcome yet .It will be a while to get her stable and ongoing .She couldn't be in better hands. I think she is very unwell ,she went away for 2 -3 days and just came back tonight. I fed her and my stray black cat came in for his fed.they don't get on as he is a real male ,unneutered and think he's a feral/exdomestic cat possibly dumped or left behind when young he did the cat flap next door & got kicked out harshly so came into mine he was starving.. I kicked him out as there was a big cat fight ,mine hid under the bed eventually ,He has scooted out the flap but 5 minures he comes back with this low growl 'keep away' big bluff actually . So I fed him some of that shredded meat and he was one happy cat and he loves milk (I know it's not too good for their lungs apparently) but he drunk 2 bowls and got into the cat biscuits .He's sporadic though I never know when he'll turn up and now I'm allowed to pet him .I slipped him a dewormer tab and is now a pitch black nice cat. The Manx I think is too ill to save Petal needs to sleep but I can't get her out from under the bed . I'm too disabled to reach her ,I tried but shes found a good spot.Mean while I adopted Rufus an 8 year old mixed breed big like a lab. He's a softie ,loves food and likes me the source of delights .He has to sample tit bits off my plate I hand him or I risk losing the whole lot and he loves icecream & custard .Sorry to ramble but I'm in bit of a panic with Petal she needs out and in the cage when I can get her to my vet in Darfield . She had 3 lovely kittens all adopted 2 females with normal tails and a male a real Manx ,a little knub for a tail .He went to my best mates wife. I later thought Darn I shoulda kept him for Petal and us ........She had a good life sole charge I used to see her patrolling the territory and she never figured out a hedgehog we used to feed..............I got a pic somewhere...Oh well, I'll have to call someone I hope she doesn't leave me again.”
“My two years old male cat has been diagnosed and treated in ARC vets Shore for a urinary obstruction. I had already received injections and medication from the local vet, but it didn't get better for 4 days and got worse, so I ended up coming to the ARC over the weekend. He was hospitalized for a day and returned safely to our family today. I'm grateful to the kind vet, Jess, for her prompt and clear treatment and explanations. My cat can now urinate and I can immediately tell that he is doing much better than yesterday. Of course, I had to pay not kind medical expenses, but this opportunity gave me the opportunity to learn about various diseases that frequently occur in male cats. I highly recommend ARC vets Shore.”
“The vets were amazing the whole time my dog was in their care. They kept me updated regularly with calls, texts, and photos, even at night. They were extremely helpful and affordable, and I’ll forever be grateful for the care my dog received.”
“My first time at this vets, and was very impressed with the service I got from all of the staff. Very caring. Also gave excellent advice in a non-judgemental way. My boy's foot pad was split open after a mountain adventure, it's the 3rd time he has had this type of injury, but the first time we have been told it isnt a food allergy! I am happy I made the decision to change to VetEnt, and Emma the vet couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommend.”
“Always a positive experience for our Harry. Thank you for taking great care of him.”
“Friendly staff that are always very helpful, even when they haven't had what I need they generally have a good recommendation for an alternative”
“Friendly, attentive and professional service. Great teamwork. Highly recommend.”
“My dog Kobe loves going to Brookby Lodge to hang out with his friends. Always send him for day care and boarding whenever we go overseas. Happy boy when dropping and picking him up. Woof woof”
“Very friendly staff And very kind to all of my pets. And very accommendating to me paying my vet bill. As im on a benefit. They have always been there for me. I had to put my beautiful little dog down on the 6th of December last year. It was a very emotional time for me at my little dog with my mum's dog as well and she put my mum passed away on the 24th of November 2011 and I nearly lost my little dog . Floey. She was a very loyal little dog and I love her very much and I find it hard to be without her.”
