   We are so grateful to Animates Botany Downs for taking such wonderful care of our cat Zena during her 3-week stay. The weekly updates and photos meant so much to us and gave us peace of mind knowing she was happy, comfortable, and adjusting well. Communication was always friendly and reassuring, and we loved the thoughtful touches like her report card and toy at the end. It’s clear the team genuinely cares for the animals they look after—thank you for making Zena feel right at home!    Had an unpleasant experience with their cattery service. This was my second time using them. When I went to pick up my cat from their cattery, the vet nurse handed me back my cat along with his stuff. She handed me back my cat's dirty food bowl telling me she's got no time to wash it. Then went off to sit at a desk with no other customers in sight. If they're too busy to spend a few seconds to rinse a food bowl when handing back pets in their care to the owners who are picking them up, then I wonder the quality of care you give to the pets in your care when the owner is not in sight. Are they cleaning the cat's litter boxes, giving my cat his medication on time or are they too busy? It really makes me wonder!! Won't be using their cattery again.

   It's been some time since I last visited Animates. It was lovely seeing the growth of the store with so much more on offer too. I have a new 12 week old puppy, a mini schnauzer. Can you tell me if you do puppy / socialisation classes?

   Anything you are unsure of, you can ask the team for info. We also didn't realize that you can get a genetic test done on our puppy especially if you are unsure of what breed they are. Got told that you can do the DNA test for approx $150? or so and you can be told what breed your dog is if they are a mixed breed. Awesome customer service and will return again
