Really nice staff - saw an excellent vet. Nice reception staff. Not a lot of stock for extra ‘bits’ and very overpriced. But will use the clinic repeatedly owing to vet care. Also offers Afterpay which is great. No parking, only street parking which can be tricky with puppies and presumably injured pets (carrying)
I can't thank the staff enough that worked here 2/04/25,I rang before you'd opened in the morning with a sick cat,you said come straight away, Billy was checked then went to surgery immediately, unfortunately he had cancer,and after ringing me,we put him to sleep before he suffered any more,obviously I'm devastated, but also grateful to the quick thinking kind staff who are so professional and caring, I don't know your names ,but I'm so grateful for your care.Kind Regards,Andrew

The staff who work here, and also at the Paraparaumu clinic (where we've had to go on occasion as Waikanae isn't open on weekends) are so lovely, kind and caring. We bring our very nervous dog here and they go out of their way to make her feel comfortable, which is very much appreciated. There is also an absolute angel who works here, who takes care of injured birds (non-natives) that no other vet will take. Just wonderful!

Fantastic ,caring, young vet in Paraparaumu when I had to have my 13 year old dog put down recently. So thorough. Sympathetic. Even sent nice card afterwards. Plus gold glitter card of footprint of Pippi.
Beyond expectations is an understatement. The compassion I've received from the team has been overwhelming. I did not expect to see my polydactyl boy's paw prints come in the mail following his sudden death on his favourite spot on the bed. They've even arranged a necropsy as part of vet training at Massey University. Even if there are no answers, knowing that he'll be contributing to veterinary training helps immensely with the grief. You're an amazing team, Vetcare Waikanae.
Absolutely brilliant. Saw us right away when our kitten Frankie had a major whoopsadaisy. Advised the best course of action (surgery) and took great care of her. I couldn't recommend highly enough.
