   I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the team at Albany ARC, especially Dr Lucie and Dr Markian, for saving my dog Dyson’s eye during the New Year holiday period. We were so lucky when most regular vets were closed, Albany ARC was there for us. Both doctors spent an incredible amount of time and care treating Dyson, and thanks to their prompt and professional treatment, his eye was saved. I really appreciate that throughout the process, they always kept us well updated, which gave us so much reassurance during a very stressful time. I am also grateful to the nurses, reception staff, and specialists for their kindness, support, and teamwork. We are extremely grateful to have had your support when we needed it most. Thank you for everything you did for Dyson and for us.

   We visited at 3am for urgent care after our cat was attacked by two dogs on our own property. The team at ARC took exceptional care of Joey, ensuring she was comfortable and calm throughout a very stressful situation. They explained everything clearly — the recommended care plan, pricing options, and their findings the following day. When Joey was ready for discharge, they made sure we were well prepared for her recovery at home, including demonstrating how to administer her pain relief. We’re incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and genuine empathy shown by the ARC North team, both to Joey and to us.

   My two years old male cat has been diagnosed and treated in ARC vets Shore for a urinary obstruction. I had already received injections and medication from the local vet, but it didn't get better for 4 days and got worse, so I ended up coming to the ARC over the weekend. He was hospitalized for a day and returned safely to our family today. I'm grateful to the kind vet, Jess, for her prompt and clear treatment and explanations. My cat can now urinate and I can immediately tell that he is doing much better than yesterday. Of course, I had to pay not kind medical expenses, but this opportunity gave me the opportunity to learn about various diseases that frequently occur in male cats. I highly recommend ARC vets Shore.

   Lack of compassion, no diagnosis and ridiculous cost. We arrived at 11 pm, so it was an after-hours consult, a real emergency for us. The vet would not treat our pet in front of us, whisking her away into a back room for a simple injection! A preliminary hand examination was done, then a quote for nearly $2,000 to book her in over night for tests. No book in, no tests, no diagnosis. Held to ransom for money. No thanks. So we left with our pet with zero diagnosis and a few hundred dollars poorer. In the morning, our usual vet did a few tests in front of us and showed us the cause of the problem within 20 minutes, no discussion of stupid costs or hiding in back rooms. The care and compassion our local vet delivered (and always has in our 27 years with them) is something ARC desperately needs to learn. Our local vet’s premises are nowhere near as flash, but I prefer compassion, skill and caring over expensive environments. Every single time. Emergency or not, we won’t be back at ARC.

   Amazing team, amazing care giving to our cat Penny after she had a bad injury and needed emergency care. Anne the vet and her team have been outstanding in the care and support, updates she’s given Penny and myself over the weekend. The admin team also amazing, very kind and friendly. Very grateful for the care we have received. Would highly recommend anyone to contact if they needed support with their animals. Thank you so much Picture of Penny resting at home with her cones on !!!

   My dog Tank came in to ARC afterhours on a Friday night, with severe lacerations to both back legs, and a suspected broken front leg. We were put into a room immediately and barely had time to settle him before the nurse was back with pain relief.The staff were incredible, they were comforting, explained everything that was going on, and treated Tank with meticulous card. He was seen by a vet within the hour, xrayed, cleaned and stiched up.I left Tank there overnight, and the communication from ARC staff was incredible, at my request they phoned me twice with updates on his condition. The service and standard of care that Tank received was far greater than i have seen in any human hospital ever!If you animal has an emergency, i cannot recommend ARC more highly.

   Firstly - Top marks for quality of service. No complaints there. -1 star for taking another couple's cat before mine even though I got there first. Not sure why. Sick cat and I waited another 90 minutes to be seen. Irritating -1 star for the cost. $2k is an eye-watering charge for an overnight stay, a blood test, saline drip, and a course of anti-biotics -1 star for strongly recommending an additional $2k ultrasound without even trying the antibiotic first. Luckily for me I declined and the antibiotic did the trick in short order So go there if you are desperate and no-one else can take you. But be prepared to have your bank account cleaned out. Wish I'd read the reviews first.

   The most amazing experience. Once I got over the $ shock, everything was great. All staff so caring. Explain all the processes with our fur baby Harley. Parking is an issue so plan early.

   I couldn’t thank the team at ARC enough! My dog Cairo had to be taken in for kidney issues and ARC was so efficient with everything and had amazing communication keeping me updated with everything they were doing and how he was going. Thank you guys for taking amazing care of my boy ❤️
