“Firstly, thank you so much for bringing such awesome boots to NZ!!! I have always loved boots but had been forced to buy them overseas to get something a bit different that was of good quality. I visited the Tauranga store about a year ago and got chatting with the sales lady, she was brilliant! I would not have bought non leather shoes if it wasn't for speaking with her. Over the past year I have purchased 3 pairs and I could not be happier with the style, quality and cost! Keep it up please :)”

“Lovely staff who always greet you with a smile! Was able to grab a lot of wool for a cheap price and the needles only cost me $1. Really like going here as prices are decent for an op shop and you know you're money is going to something that truly will make an impact. Prices are fair at this store and aren't inflated. Items in store rotate quickly so when you see something you like grab it quickly because chances are, it won't be there the next time you go in.”

“I've been meaning to write a review for ages as this shop is just fantastic! I recently bought a couple of pairs of boots from the Wellington store online and they arrived promptly with a gorgeous note from the staff, "Thank you Sarah ❤️ Enjoy your beautiful new Maher boots! Love Team Welly xx" with a cute little drawing someone had done of boots splashing in a puddle! Talk about a nice personal touch! I have loved my boots all winter- thank you team Welly!!! I discovered Maher for the first time a few years ago when in Auckland for a business trip and actually video called my husband from the shop as I was so excited to discover such fun and fancy shoes and accessories for men and women! It's been my favourite go-to shoe shop ever since. And the handbags are also amazing and you can often get matching shoes and bags. My only criticism would be that they don't yet have boots for men - my husband has been super jealous of my faux fur lined boots and would love something similar in his size!”

“Where do I start? I had such a lovely experience buying a quality pair of boots from here! The staff member, Stephanie, was exceptionally patient and kind in helping me try on various boots before I chose the perfect pair! She didn’t rush me and I did ask to try on quite a few pairs, but she was patient with me and even recommended a few that made my decision even more difficult to choose from. The atmosphere of the store was also pleasant. I definitely recommend not only the quality of the shoes from Robin Pierre, but the staff are friendly and the store environment is pleasant.”

“I needed to get some new shoes for work and had just the best shoe shopping experience when I went into the Cashel street store last Thursday. Store manager Jeff was the best ! Really efficient, helpful, chatty, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I tried on a number of different styles of shoes and sizes, and nothing seemed to be a problem to him. His manner was friendly, upbeat and down-to-earth. He gave me his time and undivided attention and seemed happy to ask all of my questions (I'm not a frequent shopper and often find decision-making hard!), he didn't mind my annoying questions and indecision. Based on all the above, I ended up buying not one but two pairs of shoes/boots! Jeff had recommended the Dr Marten Wonder balsam product to me but they were out of stock. Never fear ! Jeff and his colleague located the product at a different Platypus store (in Queenstown) and arranged for it to be delivered to my house and free of charge! Unbelievably it was in my mailbox the next day ! This was the cherry on top of the icing on the cake! Such great customer care and service. Definitely heading back. I highly recommend this store to anyone after good shoes and great service. Thanks again Jeff & co.”
