Great service but terrible recommendations. I went in to get some shoes since i was training for a half marathon. The shoe i got were hoka and cost $300. The entire time ive used them they've bruised my feet and left them numb no matter how loose or tight they are. After months of "breaking them in" ive heard from multiple people that running shoes dont need to broken in. This whole time i had simply been dealing with a bad recommendation assuming it would get better. I've since switched over to some street shoes and experienced less bruising although it's more tiring.

We had limited time to buy them and take them to Spain to meet a relieved friend whose baggage had been lost with her previous Shoe Science trail shoes in them. Shoe Science sponsored an event I went in, so thought I would drop in and see what they had on offer. Was looked after by Reuben, personal service and knowledge was outstanding. He did the same events also, knew everything and had great recommendations for shoes and gear (ultra's). I've been converted and will be back to their branch.

Brilliant customer service. Phoned from Wellington to order some altra running shoes. They were great to deal with and had the exact shoes in the right size in stock. They were delivered the next day. Outstanding.

Walked in, and was immediately helped by Dario. He was very helpful and friendly and suggested two very good shoes after looking at my feet and how they moved when i walked, probably the two most comfortable shoes ive ever worn. Cant wait to go for a run with them this weekend. Will definitely be back here for my next pair when the time comes
