“These owners are BEYOND INCREDIBLE! I was tasked with bringing food to a large time sensitive function and I asked if they could have 2 large pizzas ready at 10am for pickup. To which they instantly said yes! (Note: they don't open until 1030am!) They were so kind and generous with their time. Didn't even charge a fee for the service. They came in early to cook and had the food ready precisely on time for me. So professional!! And everyone at the gathering LOVED the pizza. Couldn't get enough and needed to know where I got them from. Wonderful experience, highly recommend Sals pukekohe for your next gathering or for any pizza needs.”

“I just discovered this little place and I will definitely be back! I have eaten Teriyaki Chicken Donburi more times than I can count but yesterday I had possibly the best ever here. Lots of perfectly cooked, succulent and delicious chicken, loaded with also perfectly cooked veggies, over plenty of rice that had just the right amount of sauce. I was asked if I wanted spicy and was advised, if I could tolerate a little spice (I can), it was the tastier choice. Great advice! There was a slight bite to the dish which improved the overall flavour without being so spicy you couldn’t taste anything else. The place is tiny and mostly set up for takeout. There are a few tables along one side but with very uncomfortable furniture. When I’m in the area I prefer to eat in during a break from shopping so more comfortable seating would have been nice. But that’s my only negative. And I like that they have longer hours than the other Japanese place in the area. Loved this little spot, can’t wait to go back!”

“Went to Sal's the other week with my family and it really is just an honest to goodness pizza place. Great food, fair price, and generally just a good experience. The staff were friendly and really patient with us when we stumbled on our order a bunch. Personally I'm a huge fan of the general vibe and aesthetic of the place, somehow it adds to the flavour- all in all it's a place I'm keen to eat at some other time that I'm in town! I mean the half and half pizza alone is SO worth it.”
