The most disgusting sushi shop. Ive been here twice for food, and both times ive vomited as soon as the sushi hits my mouth. Its like they have used old seaweed, or their cabinets aren't cold enough and the food goes bad. Tastes and smells like rotten bait, and I dont buy fish sushi. Its beyobd gross. Try to tell the staff and suddenly they dont understand English and supposedly no one knows what im saying. Absolutely vile waste of money. This is weeks between trips too, as the first time was so gross I gaged at the thought of sushi. I decided to give them another try today and im full of regret. Yuck

Today I purchased teriyaki salmon on rice, spicy chicken on rice and teriyaki sushi. Multipack.
The selection of dishes is excellent and the food is always super fresh and tasty.
The service was friendly and friendly.
Others in my house think I should share!

This restaurant is the cleanest and friendliest place in Papamoa. Of course, the food is excellent, especially the Korean-style chicken, which is incredibly delicious and a favorite for me and my child. It's a shame there's no such great place near my house. I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

We absolutely love Hello Sushi Golden Sands Drive! The owner and staff are always so lovely, welcoming and friendly - they really make you feel at home. All the sushi and hot meals are always super fresh with the best quality ingredients used, and just so delicious. Highly recommend!

Straight off the bat I can say it is a lovely place to eat, atmosphere are decor are very nice, modern and nature filled space.
Although the sushi was a huge disappointment, my partner spent around $50 for pure disappointment with taste, presentation and very high price for not much food, or even good food.
In the photos you can see how messy the sushi was cut, and just rice covering the bottom of the sushi pieces. Chicken was dry and avocado was just a puree, mushy avocado.
We got two large sushi lunch trays, a rice ball and a pork bun.

Nice and fresh sushi! We like that thereβs a GF section and so far havenβt had any issues with it. Tried the ramen the other day - a little salty for my liking but it was a big serving. Service was friendly and nice too. Would come here often to get sushi for lunch as itβs nice and easy
