This place has done amazing riceballs for years. Unfortunately today, found out they have gone the way of many chain sushi places - all rice and minimal chicken (for $8.50!). People are still lovely though.
i orderer a crispy chicken rice ball no mayo they listened to the no mayo but it is clearly teriyaki, i cannot eat it due to my arfid so im pretty upset to see that my request was not met when they said it was possible, it could be the soy sauce but i had no indication there would be soy sauce and it upsets me considering it was $8 for something i cant eat. im not trying to sound like a karen but i have a disorder which means the food has to be specific or i will feel physically sick. im pretty disappointed considering the price and the outcome
I used to love this place, was my favourite sushi place in CHCH. Now I cannot afford it..I can't believe the prices, they're absolutely ridiculous and for what? some rice, a small amount of meat and seaweed? Quality and quantity have gone down and prices up, customer service not the best- always make me feel rushed.
Lots of options and good pricing. Fresh and tasty ingredients. I had the spicy prawn 8pk today, it was delicious. Perfect bite sized pieces too. I've always had fast and friendly service here and enjoyed every thing I've tried from them so far. Definitely recommend.

I am disgusted with this place! In the past few months max, the portions sizes have decreased and the prices have increased. The staff are often rude and just now they ripped up their branded card that they have always honoured and told me they wouldn’t honour their free sushi, whilst still offering the same cards. Dishonourable business practice!
Finally sushi that is a size that I can eat in one mouthful. Rather than a huge piece of sushi that falls apart all over the place while eating, I can now eat without food fallout fear. Taking a star off as the packaging is plastic, looking forward to more environmentally friendly packaging in the future.
Pretty good range of choices for lunch, good rate quality&quantity/price. I often end up buying my lunch here. The staff is welcoming and really efficient. If you like sushi, this is your place where to stop by for lunch. Recommend
