“Superb steak and cheese pie. Massive and delicious sausage roll perfectly complemented by the coleslaw it came with. Shared a big bucket of fries that were amazing, best I’ve had in New Zealand (okay I’ve only been here a week but I’ve had quite a few in my life and these are up there). Was a bit weird that the chips came out before the pies but this worked out nicely, the aioli and salsa were great. Nice that the pastry goodies were warmed in the oven not a microwave. Coffees were excellent. Service was good. Toilets were clean. All easily accessible.”
“Our family of 7 went for lunch. We were seated quickly without a reservation. Our orders were taken, and there was something for everybody, including the kids on the menu. The meals were served quite quickly, and all of us agreed that the food we had was delicious. The staff were helpful, casual yet professional. The beach views from The Flat White were to die for. Would we go back or recommend this cafe to anyone. Most certainly.”
“Friendly service, clean rooms and convenient location a short walk to restaurants.”
“Great place fantastic location. Clean, tidy and affordable”
“On the day of our visit, the weather wasn’t really on our side – but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Marnie, with his great energy, explained everything clearly and concisely before we set off on the walk. We actually ended up spending about half an hour longer than estimated, simply because we enjoyed it so much. Along the way, we spotted many black teals and swans, as well as cormorants and other interesting birds. The path also takes you through a beautiful redwood forest, which made the experience even more special. I understand it may not be for everyone, but I believe anyone who appreciates nature will find the entrance fee well worth it.”

“★★★★★ Fantastic One-Stop Shop with Amazing Variety! Pak'nSave Papamoa is hands-down my go-to supermarket in Tauranga! From the moment I walked in, the friendly team at the Lotto counter and checkout operations made me feel welcome—their efficiency and cheerful service really stood out. The freshly cut meats section is a highlight—great quality, well-priced, and always neatly displayed. The bakery department smells heavenly, with fresh bread and treats that are hard to resist. For bulk groceries, this place nails it! Whether stocking up on pantry staples or grabbing fresh produce (which is consistently crisp and vibrant), they’ve got everything covered. I also love their specialty dairy and milk products—perfect for families or anyone looking for local favorites. The store itself is clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious, making shopping stress-free even during busy hours. Plus, the huge parking area is a game-changer—no circling around for a spot! Highly recommend Pak'nSave Papamoa for unbeatable variety, value, and a hassle-free experience. Keep up the great work!”
