   Absolutely fantastic! We were passing through from Gisborne to Napier and got a table on the spur of the moment without a reservation. Instead of two main courses, we ordered three starters and were very happy with them. It was the best meal we've had on our trip through New Zealand so far, and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

   When I arrived, the young woman at the front desk was arguing loudly with someone out the back. Sounded more like a parent/child argument that continued loudly for some time and visibly affected the mood of the woman at foh. I ordered the rosemary lamb which arrived at the table with blobs of tomato sauce around the plate, the broccoli night was the only edible part of the meal. The Aragoto was not cooked properly. Hard in the middle like they were frozen. The lamb was very overcooked. Extremely chewy and difficult to cut. The bread pictured was supposed to be focaccia, however tasted like plain supermarket white bread. It was tough, not spongey at all and I couldn't get through one piece. I ordered a beetroot and avocado salad to take away, which only had toppings. Mostly feta and walnut, 2 sliced cherry tomatoes, a wee bit of cucumber that looked like it was bitten and 3 tiny pieces of avo on top which wouldn't have equated to even one thin slice if put together. I would never go back. The only thing that made it a positive experience was the male waiter, who was lovely. Do not recommend and now understand why there was only one other table of people when I was there.

   Had the duck bao buns.. when it turned up it was beef cheeck , without any notice from the server or chef. It was still yummy but was slightly disappointed that they didn't let me know. Mentioned it to the staff who insisted it was duck.

   Always a pleasure to come here and dine. The food was excellent as always and it was nice and warm inside. We were well looked after by the staff and put in a nice little private area away from a few large tables which was nice. The atomosphere of the night was relaxing and enjoyable. Decent selection on the menu for food and drinks. I'll definitely be coming back.

   Beautiful building! We ate outside and it was beautiful. Inside is nice and heated. The menu is great. The waitress was kind and friendly. The food was delicious!! We liked this place so much we had lunch and dinner here on the same day!
