Wifeβs salad was great, however, $29 fish & chips was a kids portion! Hand full of frozen chips, 1 small piece of fish & a spoon of salad greens? $15 was all it was worth! & Still hungry when I got home
Very pleasant and helpful staff, nothing was a bother. Went there for lunch. Food was great, and timely. Great pub environment, atmosphere. Would definitely recommend, and looking forward to a revisit next time we travel that way.
We went for a breakfast and just have good things to say!the food was amazing and the portions really good. If you like sweet things, try their French toast! You will not regret!
We went looking for a place to eat in Tauranga city, as we were hungry. We found a lovely place, with yummy delicious food. Friendly staff, and nice n quiet enjoying our lunch. Salmon and fish n chips salad, with Stella beer. We recommend that you try this restaurant. Wayne n Jonah Taylor
The Guinness on tap got my attention. Great place for a mid-week English lunch. Bangers n mash was tasty, bonkers burger is good value and the small pork belly was ok with a stronger flavoured hoisin. Great fries with a subtle flavoured aoili. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the Guinness. Definitely go back for Guinness when I'm back in town . Friendly host and the food was out in great time.
Food was good traditional English grub. Pub is very tired and could barely read the menu as it was so crusty and well used! Guinness on tap was nice for a slow Sunday lunch. Just needs a but if work to get back to a great venue.
We had nice yummy lunch, great service, awesome place to eat.
So grateful that some NZ businesses are getting on board allowing dogs on the premises. A fabulous lunch on a gloomy mid winters day. Food was amazing.
