We had a lovely breakfast at Dixie Browns. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was really nice. As per my husband, they had the best eggs benedict! I also loved their hot chocolate drink definitely a highlight of our visit. A great spot to enjoy breakfast . βοΈβ¨
Beautiful lunch made perfect by the staff especially Cecilia so friendly & warm bright & bubbly. This was a sad day in many ways losing our Son, Brother & partner tragically in January this year Scott loved the Mount he lived & breathed it he surfed & walked it continually he would have been 44 today. We chose Dixie Browns do we could be near the beach & be closer to him. Cecilia was very attentive & served us well. All the other staff were friendly as well. Thankyou so much to you all. Great breakfast options after an early sunrise morning hike up the mount. Had an omelette with tomatoes which was soo good and the walnut and fig slice with honey butter - really nice!! Great customer service !
Had a great breakfast with my partner at the restaurant, and I was really impressed! The service was quick, and we didn't wait long for our food and drinks. The hot chocolate was amazing, and the eggs Benedict were so good.
Absolutely rate Dixie Browns Tauranga. We had only ever been to the Taupo one and the Devonport one - before it shut down some time ago. We have absolutely loved the food and experience at the others, and the Tauranga one did not disappoint. The staff were really helpful and efficient. The food was all absolutely delicious and the kids' burger meal is huge!. I had the calamari as a main and it was so tender and delicious. My husband had the special, which was a lamb curry in half a loaf of bread, and the flavor in the curry was amazing. My Mum had a woodfired pizza, which was absolutely massive (took most back with us for the next day) and it was perfectly cooked. She particularly loved the base sauce. The puddings are out of this world delicious. We shared the lemon meringue pie (so good!) And the chocolate mud cake - which was the lightest, most decadent, delicious choc mud cake, any of us have ever tried. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good food with decent portions.
Food was great. But quite expensive. Wait time was not the quickest. There are more affordable options that have less waiting time and taste as good or better.
Great food at reasonable prices, very clean and tidy premises and the staff were excellent. The milkshakes were so good, and the sandwiches were full of fillings.
I went to eat dinner while looking at the sunset beach. But the food I ordered came out late, so I already had dinner looking at the dark beach after the sun set.
