I keep going there especially the weekends for shopping and I always go there for a quick bite before dinner... staff is always kind and quick, so I never had a bad experience from my food there... definitely the best sushi place takeaway in the area for me...”

“Been going to them for a couple years now, to start with i will say the chips were a little overcooked 90% of the time but over this year they have been cooked perfectly (to me atleast). Its unfortunate that they had to up the price but its understandable considering this economy at the moment, still happily geting my food though dispite that. The people there iv found have been really nice aswell, ill usually go next door to pick up something to drink but usually after that it dosnt take that long for the food to be ready. Sometimes ill actually go once or twice a week since its a easy lunch or dinner option and is only just a 5 minute walk for me.”

The prices are absolutely terrific, and the options? Endless! From classic rolls to unique creations, everything I've tried has been downright delicious. “KATSUBI is always well liked by many customers in the mall. during peak hours there is always a line of customers waiting to enjoy their own bowl of rice, salad and chicken of their choice. The service does go by quickly as their staff are all so friendly and well trained and rarely messes up any orders. Although the mini bowl does look quite small but trust me, it will stuff you up for hours as $16 is quite a good set price. The managers are always sweet and hard working, always greeting you with a huge smile on your face as if they've known you throughout your whole life, even offering you free samples and taking the time to explain ever detail and answering various questions! Many different food choices are offered like Bowls, Ramen, Udon, or even the tray of snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone as it is the best food shop in Albany Westfield Mall ! A+”

“Delighted that they have opened in Karaka. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I have a very serious avocado allergy and the staff was so careful, they put on new gloves took out all clean unused equipment to prepare and roll my sushi and they even cut it by hand so as not to get any avocado traces in my sushi. The staff is so friendly and helpful, can't wait to stop in again and get another salmon roll!”

I used to go there every week for lunch when I worked at the wharf, and it was always a satisfying meal. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!”

“Despite what the reviews say, I had a very positive experience at this Katsubi location. We visited on a Tuesday night around 6:00 P.M. and ordered the medium bowl with 1 hot option. The rice and veggies were fresh and delicious. The Spicy Crispy Chicken was delicious and they gave me a HUGE portion. We dined in and the restaurant was clean with friendly and helpful employees.”
