We bought 3 double decker Katsu and rice, some crab nuggets and avocado salmon and cream cheese sushi today. A bit disappointing that we've spent over $70 and still had to pay .30c for an extra soy sauce, ginger was only enough for 4 sushi rolls, the wasabi wasn't fresh and the rice half cooked or either dry, you could litterally bite the rice instead of it melting in your mouth. The crab nuggets wasn't fresh either. There were no forks or napkins in our bag to eat with. I will definitely not go here again.

The servings are small. The amount of condimence such as Mayo and teriyaki sauce are minimal. The service is alright they are friendly. 2 toilets available and the store itself is clean enough. The sushi is still pricy.

Donβt really happy about Sunday lunch time staff. I bought 2 sushi $15.99, and 1 $16.99. The stamp card just gave me 2 stamps, but she is very very sure she gave me 3, very obviously on my card, the previous stamp was in Tauranga. After I asked, she said she is very sure she gave me 3, but she stamped the third one for me tho, due to donβt want to argue. Soβ¦in that case, if she gave 3 stamps in the first time, and then gave me extra 1 after, I should gave total 4 stamps after the Tauranga one. However, I only got 3 stamps after Tauranga. So, the staff can not count the stamps properly?

Compared to any other branch I've been, the serving size of meat to rice is small - by a long way Also lots of cartilage, not impressed.

Hello I just placed a order on Uber eats I paid 22$ for Katsu chicken dragon roll just to get 70% rice 20%veg and 10% chicken, I literally had to eat with my hands because they gave no fork no chopsticks or napkins we all know how messy things get with dragon rolls itβs got sauce all over it so itβs a must for cutlery cheers!

Lovely customer service from the young lady at the register. Sushi made fresh and didnβt take long. Also the toilets were very clean & tidy.

I had high hopes when this branch opened but ive become more and more frustrated by their tactics. They constantly provide average rude service here and they hide both the sushi of the day and the half and half of the day behind the counter probably an intentional tactic to try and make people buy more expensive sushi packs. They wont make you up any Sushi after 7pm yet they are open till 8pm and they will also try to upsell you to a dearer pack whenever they can. Also on some occassions the Sushi seems not fresh as though it has been refrigerated/frozen then brought out when needed.

Convenient, close to Z and the sushi is up to standard. However the service is somewhat poor, the first thing I asked for clearly was miso soup but the server did not enter it in. Another employee served me the miso soup and apologized for the situation but I had to pay extra to recieve it due to it not being entered in on the origional order that I had paid for. I also hear they are another store which likes to hide the cheaper sushi of the day option behind the counter so less people buy it.

Like all you other St. Pierres, their meat to rice ratio is off. So much rice for very little meat. No soy sauce in the restaurant. No Airconditioning in the restaurant so you'll be grilled on a hot summer day. Only came here to check it out as it is new but would not recommend. If you want sushi not sushit then support your local sushi place not the ripoff St. Pierres.

Delighted that they have opened in Karaka. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I have a very serious avocado allergy and the staff was so careful, they put on new gloves took out all clean unused equipment to prepare and roll my sushi and they even cut it by hand so as not to get any avocado traces in my sushi. The staff is so friendly and helpful, can't wait to stop in again and get another salmon roll!
