genuinely the best katsubi i have been too. i have been to katsubi all over nz but nothing beats this one. the older lady who works here is an absolute God send. my bowls are always FULLLL like bursting to open. they’re so so kind. i would breathe katsubi if i could. no other place compares. i genuinely love this place

If you want to buy katsubi red bowl the one at The Base is better, they have a great salad selection and always fill the bowl to the very max, this store never done the same and I have tried them four times just in case

Bit of a letdown compared to the Katsubi at The Base. Same price, but with less variety in both meat and vege options, and the portion didn’t feel as generous even though the bowl size was the same. The flavours and overall quality just weren’t as good either. For what you’re paying, it doesn’t quite deliver. I won’t be returning to this location, but I’ll definitely keep going to the one at The Base — much better taste, options, and value. Not many good reviews either by the looks

Usually go for the regular red bowl, generally is pretty good but the last few months prices have gone up again and the quantity has gone down, have been going there for about 7 months but tonight will be my last time...a shame that they could be much better.

I never moan about food..but this!!! I just ordered through Uber eats. By far the most disgusting food I’ve ever purchased for delivery. The best thing that came from the order was the Coca Cola drink!! And to put it in another way…I’m not a fussy eater so what does that tell you!

I ordered the spicy chicken and tofu with a coke. The chicken tastes off like very off... and the tofu was abit stiff and not soft... made me wonder if it was freshly made recently. Very disappointing when paying $45 through uber eats. I'm question if I can afford to order a real meal elsewhere as I'm still hungry, unsatisfied and $45 short.

Donburi is one of my favorite foods to eat and this place is consistently underwhelming. I've been multiple times and every time the chicken is chewy, more rice than toppings and service is a bit lack lustre

Really disappointing. We ordered through UBER EATS and were really keen to try this for the first time but turned out we wasted our money and ended up ordering something somewhere else because it was wrong and inedible. Dumplings - There were either over cooked or stale because these were so hard we literally couldn’t eat them without it possibly breaking our teeth Tempura prawns - These were either over cooked or stale as well as they were so chewy they were inedible Chips - These were so over priced at $7 for barely a handful 2 x red bowls - These were made incorrectly. There was no ginger in the bowls that was meant to have it, it was put into the bowl that wasn’t meant to have it. Both bowls were basically all over cooked white rice, had barely any veges and had the chicken which was again chewy and not pleasant. We wasted $60 odd dollars on something that was inedible and not nice to eat and then had to spend more money because we couldn’t eat this. If your looking for something worth your money and delicious this is not the place I’d put your money somewhere else.
