   Found a great spot for a Japanese-inspired fix! We dove into two different ramen bowls: a Kimchi Ramen with a vibrant, spicy punch and a classic Tonkotsu with a rich, silky broth. The noodles had a great bite, and the inclusion of fresh bean sprouts and Naruto added a nice authentic touch.

   Arrogance in staff when ask for additional offers on app,strange part she was not aware of any offers going on or so. If u would like to waste your money go to takapuna katsubi only, less portions less toppings totally waste and all ablve that staff arrpgance

   The service and food here is not good. Perhaps I came on a bad day. Food was cold and staff acted as if they didn’t want any customers. I ordered chicken but don’t think it was fresh. On the bright side the location is good.

   If you're here you're probably in and out for just a quick fix of food, but if you decide to eat in its a pretty barren little place. Well lit since the two open sides of this corner shop is basically all glass. Friendly staff, consistently keeps the place clean in between serving customers.

   I eat at Katsubi everyday in whatever suburb I am in that day. When I choose my salad I always ask for everything except jalapeño and seaweed. This makes it easier for all involved. I know that mixed seeds and dried shallots is part of that but the old Korean lady forgot to add it. After I realized she had forgotten to put them, I went to the counter and asked her to add them. She refused and said I need to pay extra. Obviously doesn't know her job . I looked on the website and showed her that it's included, she was rude and unhelpful and tried to argue with me. Her co worker mumbled something to her and she added them. Disgusting service. I had nothing against the other two staff so as I left I politely said thank you. The tall girl in the kitchen ignored me and looked out the window and and so did the short one at the front. The old one was not there anymore. Very rude service I will never go back to that branch.

   Nice eating option in Takapuna. The food is similar to a lot of other Katsubi places. The service is hit and miss. The person at the till is usually friendly but anyone else serving you look like they don't want to be there.

   It was a blackened and old-looking, tough chicken. I hastily went to this place for my hungry children, but I never want to go there again. We couldn't finish the chicken and had to throw it away. The store was clean and the staff were friendly, but the quality of the chicken was terrible.

   Despite what the reviews say, I had a very positive experience at this Katsubi location. We visited on a Tuesday night around 6:00 P.M. and ordered the medium bowl with 1 hot option. The rice and veggies were fresh and delicious. The Spicy Crispy Chicken was delicious and they gave me a HUGE portion. We dined in and the restaurant was clean with friendly and helpful employees.

   I got Teriyaki chicken and spicy pork kimchi with bean sprouts. Teriyaki chicken was good, pork kimchi was alright and the bean sprouts tasted a bit off it made me sick and felt like throwing up so I stopped eating it but I just felt sick after that. Was a decent meal but I won’t order bean sprouts again.
