   Very disappointing experience! Poor service and poor hygiene We stood at the reception for at least 5 mins, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time. Two staff members saw us, made eye contact, and walked past us multiple times without any greeting or explanation. I understand staff have other tasks, but acknowledging customers takes seconds. A simple “hi, please wait a moment” would’ve been enough. Instead, we were treated like we didn’t exist. I eventually had to stop a staff member myself, and it took less than 5 sec to lead us to a table and hand us the menu. The table had been empty the entire time, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make things worse, there was hair in my noodles, which completely ruined the meal

   $8 for a small piece of lettuce with an old, frozen piece of pork, a cucumber which is shown on the menu as a good-size pickle, slightly sliced. This was just sliced and poured with a bunch of sesame oil and spice over chicken, also clearly frozen and wasn't even cooked fresh, as the skin was very greasy and very soft. I will not come here again. Also, it would be nice to not get an old, broken menu with a quarter of the items not available

   Delicious food. Both ramen were very good, broth wasn't too salty, it was just the right taste. My comfort food on a rainy and cold day in Auckland. Service was fast too.

   The photo shows serving size (when untouched). That costed $21. Service was non-existent, to the extent I felt the waitress actually didn't want me in there. We were a group of 2, she took us to a table that sits 4 of her choice (when the restaurant was empty except for one other table), set us down, and left the two sets of chopsticks at the two seats we didn't sit at. That remained unchanged after our noodles were delivered. If that is a representation of Ippudo's quality worldwide, I would be very worried about this corporation's future.

   Took my family there for dinner and it was a cold night, so we decided that ramen would be the best choice for tonight. While the food was good, the service was only average. I was somewhat disappointed to witness staff members in the kitchen talking loudly and laughing, which seemed unprofessional given the location. Additionally, I was overcharged for a dish that was not even delivered to our table. Although the staff made an effort to double and triple check with other staff, it was embarrassing to have to address the issue. With so many other ramen shops in Auckland, I am left wondering why I should consider returning to Ippudo.

   The service provided by the manager Eric is simply exceptional, remembering our names and orders just on our second visit. Service and quality and food has met our expectations and my son likes the ramen here over other ramen places.

   We had a nice, hearty and comforting meal here. The kaarage chicken wasn't quite crispy enough on the outside, and a bit hard to chew but the overall flavour was nice. The noodles I ordered were the medium firm ones, but I thought they were firmer than I expected. It was flavourful, and the chashu was tender. My favourite was the yam fries. It was so light and crispy, this is a very unique menu item. A very safe option for those who can't really decide on what to eat.

   Delicious food, quick service. Bring a jumper, air con is cold. Didn't stop us enjoying this fabulous meal tho! Great value, not expensive.

   Due to covid they only allow 50 people in at a time so there was a bit of a line.. it took a while to have our order taken but once we ordered the food was delivered really fast and it was really delicious.. will definitely come back again.
