“Normally stopping for a cup of coffee here but today I tried their meal. Since I eat keto, I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms without toast for $20(May 2022) Happy with the amount of food. Great service, friendly staff.”

“Great location, the were able to accommodate all 30 of us, and the space worked really well for 13 kids in our group! Everyone enjoyed the food, my wife and I went for the schnitzel which was a decent size, and came paired with really nice coleslaw salad an sauce. I had the chance my son's fried chicken which was delicious! there was a lot going on for a Sunday, as they had salsa dancing and the music was LOUD! we didn't mind, but some in our group made a comment as they couldn't hear each other. I'd say it's a great place with very nice atmosphere, and they have great food and fantastic service, will definitely come again.”

Staff is so friendly and lovely, the garden bar is a really cool spot to hang out on a nice day (and dog friendly !) and the gorilla burgers are really yummy. “We have been to this cafe so many times. I love the outdoors, it has nice area outside where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and meals. I always feel this place is a bit pricey but still like the vibe of the cafe. Service is okay, there are times when we have to request staff to clean table. Other than that staff are always polite and helpful. I enjoy their milkshakes, coffees are okay.”

“Had the 8-course tasting dinner with wine pairing and it was such a great experience. Every dish was packed with flavour and looked amazing on the plate — you could tell a lot of thought went into the menu. Some combinations really surprised me, like the beetroot carpaccio with macadamia crusted feta, and the smoked eel with caviar — so good! The wines were perfectly matched to each course, starting with a crisp Champagne and ending with a bold Pinotage. It really brought out the flavours of the food. Service was spot on — the team were friendly, easy to talk to, and kept the evening feeling relaxed but still special. We never felt rushed, and everything flowed nicely from one course to the next. Left feeling full, happy, and impressed. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food, wine, and a memorable night out.”

“I come in to Columbus Coffee Ferrymead with my daughter usually once a fortnight sometimes bringing in other family or friends to have a meal. Been coming here for a over a year. The staff are very friendly and happy towards us. The meals are yummy and even more delicious now under the new owners/chef. Love the dairy free frappe's. Have also come here to have meals for our birthday's and anniversaries. We definitely feel welcomed here and will continue coming back.”

He was able to get a table for us when so so busy! He is so friendly, chatty and quick service, we enjoy talking to him. He is outstanding and very quickly to clear and wipe tables. They went above and beyond to courier pies all the way to Palmerston North, and they arrived in perfect condition, safely guarded by a little gingerbread man! That personal touch says everything about the care they put into their food and their customers. I would move to Rangiora just to be closer to this bakery. If you love pies that set a new standard, do yourself a favor and get here. 1000% recommended!”
