   I absolutely love this café! I come here 2–4 times every week and it is always a highlight of my day. The staff are genuinely awesome, friendly, welcoming, and they go out of their way to make me feel valued. The coffee is consistently excellent, always hot, and they even make mine in a special way just for me. It is also a really special café, set in the Mega Mitre 10 plant section with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is right next to a large children’s play area, which makes it perfect if you have kids in tow. And on the days I feel lazy, they have a couple of comfy couches that make me feel like I should probably move in. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great coffee, great people, and a great setting!

First off, let's talk about the playground. Yes, you heard right. A playground. For kids! It's like a mini amusement park, but without the creepy clowns. It's the perfect spot for the little ones to expend their boundless energy while you sip your coffee in peace. Speaking of coffee, let's just say it's solidly in the upper quartile. Now, I don't know exactly what a quartile is, but it sounds fancy, and this coffee is definitely fancy. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you ponder the deep questions in life, like why don’t all places have sparkling water on tap? Yes, you read that correctly. Sparkling water, on tap. It's like having a tiny disco in your mouth with every sip. The view? Oh, the view! From certain seats, you can gaze upon the hills. It's like Mother Nature herself decided to throw in a bonus feature. You can sit there, coffee in hand, and pretend you're in a pastoral painting. Now, let's discuss the food. Above average, a tad oily, but who cares when it leaves you satisfied? It's the kind of food that makes you think, "I could eat this every day and never tire of it," even though you probably shouldn't, because, well, oil. So, if you find yourself in Woolston and in need of a place that combines caffeine, kid-friendly zones, sparkling water, and scenic views, Columbus Coffee is your destination.    I come in to Columbus Coffee Ferrymead with my daughter usually once a fortnight sometimes bringing in other family or friends to have a meal. Been coming here for a over a year. The staff are very friendly and happy towards us. The meals are yummy and even more delicious now under the new owners/chef. Love the dairy free frappe's. Have also come here to have meals for our birthday's and anniversaries. We definitely feel welcomed here and will continue coming back.

   I was here a couple of weeks ago and returned for a couple of reasons. The food - I wanted to try something else out of the cabinate. Today I chose the pinwheel scone which I can honestly say was the best I've ever had, yum. Warm day so I got an iced coffee - perfect. The other reason I came back was because I really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly staff. They obviously enjoy their job and that rubs off. Great music and fun atmosphere. Thanks for the fab service Monique and Drew. And chef, yummy kai. I'll be back.

   All-day Breakfast finishes at 2:30 but doesn't state this. Dirty plate and spoon. Cold food and all-around disappointing. One of the worst managed places I've seen for a while. Came in on the 18th of September. Not a single cup or plate was cleaned from the tables so didn't have anywhere clean to sit. Sadly wouldn't recommend.

   I think this is a lovely addition to ferrymead. The food is not bad and the coffee is wonderful. I love the layout and the water options of sparkling or flat chilled water (simple things). The wait staff are lovely and friendly. Really relaxed atmosphere and perfect for young children. The play area is just by the cafe. Recommended to family's.

   A great addition to Ferrymead. Definitely love that it has playground next to it as it's a winner with the kids. I feel like the playground & cafe make a trip to mitre 10 one of the best outings for a toddler in town. The coffee is always good and they're super supportive of bringing your own cup I'll need to give the food another go, but the sweet things we've tried so far haven't been great. It does look good though! Love the layout of the cafe and the water is handy too.
