Was empty so should have taken the hint, got takeaways for dinner, asked clearly for gluten free one and one not gluten free. Payed, was unsure of burger being gluten free and asked. Chicken was raw and bun soggy and gross so didnt eat. They said no even though we ordered it. Chef was rude and unprofessional. One front of house staff member. Gossping with the chef and on their phones. had to pay nearly 25 dollars for a whole new one. nearly 75$ just for burgers. Chips you could tell were cooked from being frozen and gravy was clumpy. Not impressed. Will not being coming back.

Called in early on a Saturday evening for a take out. The venue was quiet, I'm not sure if this is because it was early or the place is quieter these days. Two super bugga burger meals for $61.80. Really, really huge burgers with proper crispy bacon, an egg and fresh lettuce. Well balanced with sauce and a relish/chutney. The chips are fat, crispy and fluffy inside, cooked in Tallow for a delicious flavour (could do with a touch more gravy please), very different to the classic golden yellow frozen mass produced chip that is all too common these days. Not the first time we've had these big lads and they didn't disappoint, pretty consistent in my opinion over the last decade. These aren't your more recent flash hipster type burgers in a charcoal bun topped with gold leaf or with an oozing wet wagyu patty that makes eating tricky, a little more of an old school offering; wider, very little patty slip and thus easier to eat. We'd be back more often, but times are really hard and take out is a real treat. Superb value and remember to support your local hard working burger joint, so they can still be there to serve you in the future. No pictures as these were smashed down to quickly.

Pretty cool place. Loved the burger, chips and gravy! Decent prices and pool table available to use with friends (costs $2, so pretty good). I also really like the decor

Mixed review. THE CHIPS, omg best chips ever, so salty and yum! Iwi burger was a hit!! Big and yummy, the kids burgers were yummy and generous sized!! Voodoo was a bit sloppy but tasted pretty good, and then the Zodiac burger i got on a Gluten Free bun and unfortunately the whole burger was just soggy, tasteless and gross, there wasn't much pork and the pork had no flavour, some salt would of done it greatly! The onions and stuffing was just a mushy mess and tasted burnt, couldn't taste gravy, lettuce was all wilted from the heat (understandable) but was just a yucky burger. So apart from the Pork Belly Burger it was pretty good, maybe the team could look at a way at making it more flavourful. Thanks

Pretty cool interior, but that's about it. Visited for lunch on a Tuesday, one other table. No service at the counter, rang bell and almost left by the time the worker came out. Ordered Chicken Pig burger, Billy Beef burger, onion rings and camembert bites. No flavour in the burgers, very thick batter on the onion rings, which made the onion soggy. My burger, despite having bacon in the name, had about 1/4 of a rasher. Couldn't mention this to the worker at the time, as they disappeared out the back and never came back to check. Perhaps it was an off-day, but won't be returning to test that theory.

Guaranteed a great burger (and large) every time. The chips and gravy are great. Best of all is the friendly staff that give great service even when rushed off their feet. Only negative is the wait times some times but that's a minor and only occasionally

Love all the burgers here! Especially the chicken ones, a lot of favour and they are big and filling!! Most people that work there are nice and have good chat. You can also get the app and check in 5 times to get free chips or onion rings, I'm happy they have kumara chips now and they are great!!! They complete the burger. Definitely recommend for any burger lovers
