Absolutely SHOCKING service — and the management is just as useless. I ordered a custom cake for Emerick’s 5th birthday, and what I received was an absolute joke. This pathetic excuse for a cake looks nothing like what was ordered or advertised. It was supposed to be a two-tier cake with a custom topper — instead I got this embarrassment you see in the photo. 150mm high, 120mm diameter, $140 — are you kidding me?! Even my godson questioned it, and that says it all. Not only was the order not delivered as promised, but the level of disappointment here is unreal. You managed to fail on every single level. No genuine apology, no refund, just the audacity to hand over a 3-day-old leftover cake like that somehow makes it acceptable. This is beyond unacceptable — it’s insulting. You are an absolute joke of a business, and this won’t end here. This bullshit is going further, and you’ll be hearing from us again — including on Seven Sharp.

Such a cool cake and at short notice. It not only looked good but tasted good too. Thanks guys for accepting my order when Divine cakes couldn’t. Also thank you to the lovely staff member that helped me out to the car with it.

Tucked away on a busy intersection, Kids Bakery is one of those local gems that you might walk past without noticing—but trust me, it’s worth the stop. Popular with students, workers, and long-time locals, this bakery has a steady stream of regulars every day. While the shop offers a wide range of breads, pastries, and quick bites, my personal favourite is their Steak and Pepper Pie. It’s not the shop’s signature item, but it’s the one I keep coming back for. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the inside is packed with tender chunks of beef, slow-cooked to perfection. The black pepper gives it just the right kick—flavourful but not overwhelming. It’s comforting, hearty, and just really satisfying. Beyond that, the prices are super reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the vibe is very down-to-earth. It’s the kind of place that quietly becomes part of your daily routine. If you’re ever passing through that corner, stop in and grab a pie. Who knows—you might just find your new favourite too.

Great bakery, plenty of options of good food and cakes. Friendly service. Parking from 10am onward can be really tight due to popularity of café. Great for catering for big morning teas.

We recently got two cakes and six cupcakes from Kidd’s cakes and bakery. The cupcakes and one of the cakes were pre ordered and the other cake was bought spontaneously when we went to collect our order. All of it was so hopeless. The cakes were dry, as if they were baked from a pre-mix. The buttercream frosting was so hard and excessively sugary. We were so embarrassed to feed that sugary dry cake to the kids at our son’s preschool. It was very disappointing and a total waste of 153$.

Had a birthday cake made here and it was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious, was a big hit at the party. We had chocolate mud cake and Madeira, delicious! Thank you for a great cake!

We had heard good things about the pies however they tasted average and lacked steak and were priced quite high. The cake was pretty good however, so I would recommend the location for sweet treats but not for pies. We found the ordering process very chaotic and not really set up in a way to get customers through quickly.

Update: love the response by the owner, shows you genuinely care about your customers, and your reputation, I will be back as those eggs bene were great Amazing eggs Benedict, best I’ve had anywhere. Clean restaurant and nice service. LET DOWN by the coffee. Bitter and yucky, undrinkable waste of $5-80 or whatever it was
