“Definitely try this place. Has everything Asian under the sun. Nice prices.”
“We were really grateful for the free prescription, especially as it was the only place open when we were discharged from the hospital at 8pm. The service was quick, efficient, and very helpful at a time when we really needed it. Excellent support and much appreciated.”
“This establishment boasts a wide array of alcohol options from various global brands. The staff members are courteous and helpful, especially for someone like me who isn't an expert in alcohol. They patiently introduced and answered questions about the different types of alcohol available. Overall, it was a pleasant and informative experience shopping for alcohol here.”
“On the run out west and had to stop in for a hotdog on a stick and a flat white. Such a wide range of warm food to choose from, the staff are really nice and everything stocked and presented well. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales”
“I spent time with Lilia this morning as she helped me search for new perfumes and Christmas gifts for my family, she was incredibly helpful and was the most friendly salesperson. She went above and beyond and was so patient, she seemed genuinely interested in helping me find new perfumes and I couldn't have been more happy with my purchases! Thank you Lilia ☺️”
“Very fast with the hot food and nice customer service definitely will be coming back!!”
“Lovely people and open til 10 which is great!”
“First time going there today and will stop in again. Very helpful lady behind the counter...”
“They make the best coffee ever! It's the best I ever had! I seriously think that it's better off as a café than a convenience store.”
“Love the free prescriptions here and service has massively improved over the past two years. They also send text reminders of repeats and usually ready within a day.”
“The post shop is awesome, service. Best service any where. The shop itself, have made changes. I will return to the business, and start buying again. I hope the business well. Fresh fruit and vegetables, would be a amazing. Maybe work with local communities to help with this. But for now. Very happy. Thank the government for policy changes.”
“Really great experience, staff super friendly and informative! Highly recommend!”
“Super friendly, always greeted when entering. The ramp makes it easier for the pushchair. Prices seem fair. $1.50 for a can is brilliant! Lolly bags for $1 has maybe like 5-6 lollies. Not bad really. Everything is priced clearly. No complaints from me :)”
“I have been visiting this store for around a year now and the owner goes above and beyond to help always giving me fruit and hommus his generosity is overwhelming the store has so much stuff i have never seen a better selection you can even buy a hot cup of coffee leaves most other stories for dust and it is open 24hrs”
“The food was very delicious.Best chicken in town.”
“Cute clothing with good price! really like there colours, their knit tops are so cute. love the pastel tone item! Staffs are nice and kind as well. They do sale a lot, I really like that too. :) Also Afterpay available!”
“Each time I travel to Dunedin I stop here to grab a drink and a bite to eat. They offer an amazing aray of food from the healthy and nutrious to the good old Kiwi roadie snacks. The shop is spotless and well laid out. I have always found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend the seafood salad! I'm not a coffee drinker but the hubby tells me it's very good.”
“Sweetest gals at the Newmarket store. I request many of my purchases to be done over the phone - they’re super accomodating like that. When I do have to go in to the store and I’ve given them a heads-up, one of them will even run out to the street with my purchases so I don’t have to force my autistic son out of the car. Thank you Newmarket team! Just did an online purchase this morning to save you the trouble today haha x”
“I recently stayed at Nomads Capital Backpackers – Wellington and I felt truly at home. From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome I received, especially from Isabel at reception, made all the difference. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and seemed genuinely invested in making my stay comfortable. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with cozy communal areas that feel inviting, a lovely courtyard, and a fully equipped kitchen that feels like a shared living room rather than a hostel. Everything is clean, well maintained, and the vibe is relaxed yet vibrant. Best of all, it’s affordable without compromising on quality or friendliness. Whether you're arriving solo or with friends, looking to explore Wellington on a budget or just want a welcoming place to rest, this is it. I wholeheartedly recommend Nomads Capital to anyone in Wellington, or anywhere in New Zealand really, who’s searching for budget accommodation with a friendly heart, warm smiles, and a truly homey atmosphere. Thank you, especially Isabel, for making this such a memorable stay!”
“Best dairy owners ever! So kind and helpful ! Genuine aswell . Highly recommend !”
“I shop at Mirrou porirua quite frequently, there is so much variety in clothes you always have to walk out with something. The staff are lovely too, they are not all up in your face as soon as you walk in which I hate but they were lovely to talk to when I needed it.”
“Came today for a specific medication behind the counter and the pharmacist was so helpful and got what I needed quicky. Great service”
“I'm always surprised how good the coffees are at NnD (all of them across Dunedin)”
“A valuable business in our neighborhood and the only dairy in the suburb. This business has had the same owners for a number of years and they are lovely people. They deserve to be always busy and have a thriving business. Many thanks”
“⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend! I’ve been to many nail salons before, but this one truly stands out. Even though the salon was super busy (which says a lot!), the team handled everything smoothly and professionally. The staff were warm, welcoming, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. I never felt rushed — they paid attention to every detail and made sure I was happy with the result. My nails turned out absolutely beautiful — clean, elegant, and exactly the design I had in mind. You can tell they take pride in their work, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and friendly. If you’re looking for a place that’s popular for all the right reasons, this is it! I’d definitely recommend booking ahead — they get busy for a reason!”
“Amazing Indian food. Must visit when in ChCh. Light on pocket and super yummy.”
“After reading some of the appalling reviews I had to leave something positive. The staff here are always pleasant and the lady behind the counter in particular is always friendly, and has been for the past few years I've been coming here. It has a lot of the things we might need without having to go further to the supermarket, and I've never once witnessed any even remotely negative behaviour by any of the staff. The prices are slightly higher than the supermarket conglomerate but exactly what you'd expect from a local superette. Never once had an issue with anything we've bought or any of the people working here.”
