I shop at Mirrou porirua quite frequently, there is so much variety in clothes you always have to walk out with something. The staff are lovely too, they are not all up in your face as soon as you walk in which I hate but they were lovely to talk to when I needed it.
For porirua store, We had a child along who accidently dropped a clutcher stand and we apologised 4 times but staff was looking at us rudely and did not even reply to our sorry. We were happy to pay for damages if there were any. Worst customer service ever seen in new zealand. Will never visit again and dear owner please train your staff properly and teach them some basic manners.
Mirrou Lambton Quay. Liked the look of something in the window and popped in at 10.30am on a Sunday morning (lights on, door unlocked) to be rudely told you weren't open yet. Hang in, your hours say 10am opening!! Looking back at the reviews I see service isn't a strong point here. This is a busy part of Wellington and this was the only shop that we went to where the service wasn't exceptional...it simply wasn't there at all, totally abysmal. Sad because with so many businesses struggling you need your staff to be the best they can be and clearly the company isn't addressing these issues.
Glassons got the best qualities in material and fabric for clothing to be honest when I went to buy my clothing. Mirrou's clothing got the lowest quality in material and fabrics and quite pricy. The online store got only a slash page for you to just scroll and doesn't have a Shopping page with sub pages that gives customers an option to choose either you want to buy dresses, tops, pants....etc. You just have to guess what's New and what's on sales just by looking and scrolling on the slash page they have which is not very professional in my opinion.
when i went in your staff didnt greet me nor come to me to help out to select stuff. when i went to the fitting room they both ingnored me and didnt come to give me the number tags or anything. i checked out and greeted her she didnt even greet me or say a single word at all. after i paid she just stood there and acted like i can just grab the shirt and go without a bag. i asked for a bag after passing me it she didnt say a single word at all not even a thank you or a smile.
If I could give this store a zero I would had my bag checked on the way out because my bag had clothes in it I literally purchased from hallenstines what was their reason to ask to search my bag based on, that was an invasion of my privacy and to single me out infront of so many people that made me feel smaller than an ant I'm so disappointed in this day and age the lady could clearly see that none of the clothes I had were from there store I will never go there again
I am happy the way the store is maintained and the way the manger treats her customer.. I asked her for the manager details so that I can pass my appreciation for her work, but lost it on the way home... Somehow I wanted to convey it to the manager her efforts and a definite credit for her dedication
Ahhh mirrou ... bargain hunters dream spot. Love their stuff
Huge range of low cost clothing. Every time I have visited this store, there has been no greeting or acknowledgement by the sales assistants. In my most recent visit I asked one of the sales assistant if I could try something on, and she looked at me as if I was stupid for even asking and said "Yeah". I made a purchase and during the whole transaction the sales assistant barely said anything, but spent the time talking to the other sales assistant while serving me.
Now I really loved this store but lately everytime i go there i can not find anything to wear. The style is very Old lady or mid 40 age range. The sizings are okay they could go up a size to be more including but its not a big deal unlike the style at the moment. i used to buy all my clothes there now not so much, I hope they change the style back.
