“Our family has been coming here for years for eye tests and glasses. Service has always been fantastic from Optometrists and the sales team. My daughter and I visited this week for tests and 4 pairs of new glasses/sun glasses between us. Special thanks to staff memberJessica who spent a lot of time with us helping choose the right frames and styles to suit our individual tastes and ages (a teenager and 50-something mum). “Great team, very friendly and helpful. I had an online order which I advised I had sent through about 3hrs earlier and proceeded to open my phone to show them the confirmation. By the time I had the email open another staff member had my online order sitting in front of her. Then she asked if the name on the order was my name which I replied yes. She then used my name in her farewell. Amazing work team.”

“Super cheap Wairau has been very helpful with providing advice and recommendations while I’ve been restoring my project car. The range of stuff in there is good and if they don’t have it on hand they get it in for you. The credit system is great for when spending it’s essentially free money when you spend money and helps you buy those small things like extra cans of paint or $20-$30 off your next big purchase like oil changes or servicing.”

“I popped into the Albany Liquorland store last week to buy a non-alcoholic Aperol drink I had been unable to source anywhere else. Apparently very popular at the moment. I was served by Jordayne and she was FANTASTIC. There were supposed to be three bottles put aside for me, but there was a mix up and only one was available. I had driven all the way from Gulf Harbour, so was a tad disappointed. Jordayne quickly went about and ordered what I wanted from another Liquorland Store and in her own time personally delivered them to me at my home (a good 40 minute drive from the store) a couple of days later. That is what I call great service, going above and beyond. Not much of it about these days sadly. Thank you Jordayne. You are a gem and I wish you well. Kind regards Sue Evans.”

“A hidden gem right in the heart of the city. You’ll miss it easily as it sits on the 1st floor and only noticeable from the menu and sign board which leads you up a flight of stairs. This place has been around for such a long time and it used to be a haunt with my mates during our uni days which was a couple of decades ago! A great selection of food and they don’t disappoint. What I’m impressed is that the consistency is still the same from day 1 and portion sizing is generous. They have a toilet available but you’ll need a key behind the counter and it comes with a super large keychain! Since nothing much has changed, the place is slightly run down and would definitely benefit from a little makeover.”

“5 star review for the lovely young Pasifika woman (apologies I didn't catch her name but wanted to make sure she was identified) who assisted me on the 25th of June around approx 5/6pm with my dehumidifier. I brought in my dehumidifier (almost at 2 years old) due to electrical faults and concerns, wanting to check my warranty and if I could get some help. Initially I was assisted by an older lady who misunderstood my request thinking I was after a return/refund, after I had specifically asked for some help with my machine that had sparked when I plugged in & was wanting to know if it was still under warrant and/or if someone could help fix it. She then proceeded to tell me I needed a receipt even after I showed my online contact with Mitre 10 noting the staff could call the shipping store upon arrival to assist and get the receipt details as it was an online order, but she told me to ring the store myself. As I went outside to grab the machine from my car & brought it back in with my daughter, I hear the woman telling the young lady I was after a refund/return which was in fact untrue, I quickly corrected her and this is where the young lady came in and helped me out. As I purchased online there was no physical copy but she was super helpful as I showed her the email contact with Mitre 10 & online details i could provide, The young lady got the initial staff member to call up the shipping store and was just super helpful and sorted it out fast and efficient. Great customer service, attentive, listened to what I needed and I was able to get a replacement as I was still within my 2 year warranty. The difference in service was visible & I think shes a great example of perfect customer service. Thank you very much to this young lady- approachable, super helpful and super happy with the outcome.”

“club points are great and the service at Papanui is always good. Most staff have been there for ages (ie come from the Cranford store) so know how to deliver great customer service and advice. remember, super cheap always price match, why go anywhere else!”
