They are very keen to give you time and space to sort out your selections and have honest and relevant opinions around suitability Of frames. With their experience this is very valuable when Choosing the next options. They take time to thoroughly explain the breakdown of costs when building your glasses from the frames to the end result - I rate them as the best optometrist experience that I have had in nearly 45 years of wearing glasses. Specsavers staff are great and are caring. Jacob is a wonderful optometrist. He has helped me a great deal and to see the eye specialists at Wellington Hospital.
Usually good experience but today was worst service ever received. Was told to come for 12:30pm appointment. I was 3.5 minutes late then got told appointment was for 12:25 not 12:30 and that now it’s too late. Come back another day. Taking time off during a weekday might be easy for many but next to impossible for some. School holidays car parks are full. 3.5 minutes late and being turned away is just not acceptable. Felt like screaming my lungs out but realised I can be more sensible than that. Never going back!
The staff here are friendly and helpful and I felt that I got good advice and a thorough eye exam. New glasses arrived quickly and are what I needed. Overall I had a better experience here than at other branches.
Fantastic service, Devyani was awesome, gave a good run down of the different types of lenses available, and what suited my needs. Fiona was incredibly helpful, ensuring I had the right frames, fitted correctly, and ensured I understood what lenses I had chosen. If you need glasses this is the branch you should go to!
