   I recently purchased new frames and later had a concern that there was a defect with those frames. I took them in to the store at The Base, Te Rapa, Hamilton, to express my concern, and that perhaps a proper clean may resolve the issue. The assistant there cleaned them and assured me that this had resolved the issue. I took her word for it, only to return home and discover there was still I problem with the frames. Regretting that I hadn't checked before leaving the store! And feeling like I had been given very poor service. After looking through customer reviews, I went to the link Specsavers provide for customer complaints and explained my situation there. Almost immediately I was contacted by the store with complete understanding and an absolute intention to rectify the issue. Apologies were made and new frames were ordered. I was able to visit the store at my convenience to have my frames replaced, free of charge, with outstanding service from Abby thank you. Thank you to the team at The Base Specsavers store for being so efficient and understanding in resolving this issue, I really appreciate it!! Highly recommend using the service provided to resolve any issues rather than complaining in the reviews only.

   My latest experience with the Te Rap clinic left me in pain and tears. I have since had 2 eye tests done by them both were incorrect scripts. Seemed a 3rd opinion from an independent clinic and they got my script right. They spent more time and care to get it right. To rectify the issue specsavers wanted me to do another test before reordering my glasses to be fixed to the right script. Only a sorry has been offered to me nothing further. Appalling service and won't be going back at all . Highly do not recommend
