“We dropped in for a quick takeaway and as usual it was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. As we waited for our takeaways, a lovely staff handed us a glass of water which is an awesome gesture. We have dined in several times and we never had any negative feedback to provide. Lots on the menu to choose as well as your usual pastries and sweet desserts. Our favourite is the seafood casserole! Very rich and if given the chance, I would lick the bowl! Parking can be tricky as there are only a few on the street and several others by the side. Best to book if you do visit on the weekend or just wait as the turnover is pretty quick.”

“This evening, a staff member went above and beyond for our family! I believe her name was Kaye, working in the click and collect department this evening. After my husband came home with our order, we realised we were missing a few things. I called up to explain and Kaye was so apologetic and helpful! So much so that she personally delivered our missing items to our home after her shift finished! Just incredible!”

“How easy is it to have a function at “Paris for the Weekend”? Very easy, select your menu and relax! My group of 26 family and friends gathered for French High Tea recently and while some would have liked more of the sandwiches and savouries, the food that was presented was very well received. Although the very large scones detracted from the dainty smaller pieces. We were hosted by Cat and she provided first class service and attention. Nothing was a bother. She was very friendly and efficient and delightful to work with. Thank you Cat. Certainly would recommend “Paris for the Weekend”, whether it be just for a coffee or a group function. Today, I had jasmine lime tea, which was incredibly refreshing and organic, instead of a tea bag. I love their gluten-free carrot cake. The staff were attentive and friendly as usual and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall, Precinct Café offers an exceptional dining/coffee experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunedin.”

We were a little worried about the possum because we’ve experienced it being itchy before now but not with Ahipao! Soft as a cloud and great quality.
