“Nice selection of Hemp clothes, crystals, salt lamps & knick-knacks.”
“Everything was amazing, service just great, everyone was kind to me, old school place, I’m very happy about this place, thanks!”
“Despite the looks is a very clean nice place, the menu do not exceed the 20 nzd and the service is veery kind an polite. I order a burguer was all meat, chicken very Juicy and of quality I was surprised to be a honest. I think will eat more here. Very affordable but is mostly sandwiches and burgers. Oh and breakfast. Coffee looks very well done. The burguer was 12nzd and you can add for 7 nzd the can and the chips. I think I enter one time and just didn't though much for the looks so I tho hmm may be not. But now that I actually eat here all looks lovely and fresh. Looks like a very vintage Cafe. I'm very happy to give this place an opportunity.”
“Amazing food along with amazing customer service, warm welcomes with smiles every time I come in, fast and quick with everything 10/10 would recommend!”
“A great place for a hot chocolate! Priced very fair, and the service was friendly and quick! Enjoyed my hot chocolate immensely.”
“Absolutely love coming here, BEST ICE COFFEE EVER! Everytime we come here, its amazing food and coffee. The coffee and walnut cake is the yummiest cake. Everytime we are in welly, we make a point of visting Cotti Cafe”
“This guy is always busy and we can see why $10 for a quesadilla is pretty damn good and fir the industrial location he gets all the workers so more moolah to him.”
“This is my first decent foods in NZ since visiting for ivermectin a week already. The portion size is big, the poached eggs were perfect.”
“We were welcomed in by the owner, an awesome lady from Sicily Italy, she complimented us and made you feel welcome. Service and food just sooo good. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.”
“A nice relaxed Sunday brunch at Cafe Kaizen. Lots of cabinet and menu choices to please all. Lovely staff and super quick service. Amazing coffee and hot chocolate to compliment our meals. The only decent place in Porirua cbd in our opinion, highly recommend.”
“The atmosphere was lovely and the food was great. The only feedback from my partner was that the breakfast could’ve included beans, and his smoothie seemed more like juice than a proper smoothie. Aside from that, my meal was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.”
“Cute Cafe with a community vibe. Lots of space for kids, captures the sun so warm even on a cold, clear day. Recommend the Breaky Loaf, with a long black.”
“A wonderful cafe a little of the beaten track but very new and modern. We had wonderful service and my flat coffee was good too. One can also visit the adjacent museum there too which is really interesting. Don't be put of that it is located at a religious but historical site as they are very welcoming. I would definitely go back”
“A good location with many delicious and reasonable price food. They use free range eggs to serve, which is really rare to see in Welly! Had a chat with the manager there. She is working on a charity and always share food to someone who really need it. She is very kind and respectable. Love the food and people in there.”
“100% Vegetarian! Adored this wee family run Persian Cafe! The atmosphere is so cozy. I had a solo work lunch here and ordered their Pirashki and a Napoleon. Pirashki is a Persian pastry! It’s a mini pie type dish filled with tasty lentils. The Napoleon is a cream and flaky pastry ‘cake’ slice! Very classic and it was delicious. I can’t wait to come back here to have a proper meal!”
“The white chocolate matcha with oat milk was super yum. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. The bacons were crispy!”
“EXCELLENT. I wish we had one where I live. The baked goods are very high quality.”
“In my shortlist for best coffee in Wellington, really really good stuff. Have been here many times over a few months and each time has been great. The staff are well trained as is minimal variation in results. Great sitting outdoors too.”
“The staff are what makes this place: they are so nice and they listen carefully. My partner tells me I am the most fussy coffee customer on the planet; they listen to my order and always get it right with the perfect coffee.”
“Great place with great coffee options. Staff is extremely friendly.”
“A piccolo latte has a higher coffee-to-milk ratio, resulting in a stronger taste compared to a latte, which has a more balanced flavor due to its larger milk content. Both drinks use steamed and stretched milk, which provides a smooth texture as it mixes with the espresso.”
“Everything looks good on this simple 2-page all-day menu! We went for the wellness bowl and the mushrooms on flat bread. Both were delicious. Food was served quickly. This is a great place for breakfast, lunch or brunch!”
“Came here for brunch. Its very rare that I give food reviews but this one is a gem! Had a taste of their steak and its very delicious plus their hash brown taste good even without any sauce and the Mochaccino is now on my top fave here in Welly! Plus the staff are very welcoming ❤️ I will definitely come back here!”
“Great staff, great atmosphere, they let me have a coffee in their uncovered courtyard which was a god send for the heavily autistic person that I am. 10/10”
“On a Saturday morning around 9:00, the place was busy with the exercise crowd. Joggers and bicyclers were enjoying a coffee and socializing either before or after their workout. I was able to order a flat white and then find a table. A little wobbly but I was able to set up my laptop, connect to their wifi and spend a half hour or so plotting the next steps in my invasion of the North Island. After a bit, the place calmed down as most folks went back out to complete their walk/run. It returned to a peaceful and still slightly up-vibe coffee shop. Nice.”
“As other's have said, they're is a great friendly feel in this cafe. We had never been before and chose to go for a Saturday bringing and chat. We both had The pancakes, I went for the net pancakes and my friend had the banana and bacon. These were easily the best pancakes I've had in the Wellington region and really left me happy.”
“This cafe deserves all the positive reviews it gets. The coffee was the best one I’d had on this visit to Wellington - great flavour, and nice and hot. The toasted cheese scone was amazing and we’ll definitely go back for another on our next visit. The staff were respectful and friendly too.”
“It was our first visit and will definitely be back! Very lovely owners who are happy to have a chat and the style/character of the cafe completes the package. Food is fantastic and service is quick. Lots of cabinet food choices available as well as menu options. Street parking is plenty so you’ll never end up having to lap around the streets looking for one. They do close later in the afternoon and are closed only on Tuesdays so it’s a rare chance to miss out on that sneaky late afternoon coffee/snack.”
“Shout out to this company for supporting the community and those in need. We were out of donated coffee supplies at the Compassion Soup Kitchen and Anne-Lise came back to an enquiry of ours straight away and offered us a large amount of beans. Great community spirit!”
