   A really lovely cafe for lunch with a mixture of dishes to keep everyone happy from french toast for the kids to a full breakfast or grilled chicken burger for the big people.

   My father and I had a lovely lunch here a couple of weeks ago. It's a local eatery that's been given great reviews and recommended by others as a great place to dine. The friendly waitress greeted us promptly and asked us where we'd like to be seated. The surroundings were clean, airy, and appealingly decorated. We duly ordered, and our food was ready without long to wait. Despite the cafe starting to fill up with patrons, most were two diners per table and several singles. There was a 'daily specials' blackboard, easily seen upon entry. Food looked appealing to the eye and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back again myself.

   Dear Jayne’s is a cozy cafe in the Mt Albert area that serves a mixture of asian and cafe cusine. I came here for lunch and had the chance to enjoy a lovely meal at the cafe. A nice place to check in with friends for a catch up, worth a visit if you’re in the area.

   I had the salmon teriyaki salad( no soba noodles) which was very good and one of their homemade croissants which was excellent. No jam in the kitchen which I think they ought to remedy when the croissant are so good. All the meals were enjoyed my coffee was excellent made with Supreme coffee. Staff nice and helpful. Cost $$

   Their turmeric latté is the best, you know you are drinking real turmeric not some instant turmeric powder that some other cafés do. It’s authentic and strong, just perfect. If you don’t like the real taste of turmeric then you might not enjoy it. I just wish it comes in a big mug lol. I ordered the vegan tofu as my main. It’s tasty but the bread was too small, overall it’s not very filling considering the price. I’d be back next time I’m in the area for the turmeric latte and would like to try the matcha too. Overall I recommend this cute local café if you’re in the area.

   Came here with a friend and had the fried chicken eggs benedict. The eggs were cooked well, the hollandaise was excellent and the bread was nice. A quality meal. The service was quick and the coffee was great. Good food, coffee, service.

   Fabulous menu and baking. I had the Dear Jane vege breakfast and it exceeded expectations. Very generous portions. It's a nice big spacious café with a covered courtyard at the back. Two minutes walk from Baldwin Ave station so easily accessible by train.
