   This place is an old favourite. I appreciate that everything they offer is top tier. I tried a pistachio patisserie today and I almost ordered another! The smoked salmon salad was balanced and delicious. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy but that's not a fault, just an observation if you're after a quieter experience.

   Absolutely fantastic food and service. Highly recommend this place! Pastries, bread and quiches are super authentic (I'm French). Staff is super nice. I had the opportunity to meet the owner (François) who was very friendly and clearly puts a lot of attention into his work. I hear they have more location across Wellington. Can't wait to check them out.

   We dropped in for a quick takeaway and as usual it was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. As we waited for our takeaways, a lovely staff handed us a glass of water which is an awesome gesture. We have dined in several times and we never had any negative feedback to provide. Lots on the menu to choose as well as your usual pastries and sweet desserts. Our favourite is the seafood casserole! Very rich and if given the chance, I would lick the bowl! Parking can be tricky as there are only a few on the street and several others by the side. Best to book if you do visit on the weekend or just wait as the turnover is pretty quick.

   We were blown away by all the choices! There’s a million different things in the cabinets as well as a full on menu and everything looked absolutely delicious. We finally settled on some gougere, an almond croissant and a mille feuille which all went above and beyond our expectations. Never had a gougere before, feel like I’ve been wasting my time eating scones when I could’ve been having the more superior and tasty gougere all along?! Service was also fantastic. Overall 10/10 ⭐️

   Really great bakery! Delicious treats! Brilliant coffee. Friendly fast service. Great vibe. Really enjoyed that even though they were super busy, everyone was really kind and smiling and looked like they enjoyed working there. Always a plus for me. ♡

   Awful, bad service despite the high number of young staff behind the counter and not being busy 10:30am Saturday. Far from the 2016 standards when I used to work here part-time, Lizzie the previous manager wouldn't let that happen. I hope François knows that. My mother was served her French breakfast after 20 mins wait then we had to go and ask for our 2 remaining meals another 20 mins later. Served dishes without clearing the table. Vegetables were lacking in taste and meals were already cold. Being yearly regulars there, the service has really gone down, very disappointed.

   Have been a regular customer for years. French toast is my all time favourite. Their cabinet food and desserts are always good. And the team there are welcoming and friendly. Tried the steak on the cook menu last week and it was over cooked, which is a let down, but the fries were perfect.
