Had a lemon berry cheesecake and a long black! Delish. Was last customer on Christmas Eve and got given a free cookie, lovely staff- all still cherry despite having to work Christmas Eve which I know is a slog! Meri Kirihimete ❤️❤️
Updated 12/12/25: dropped service from 4 to 1 as the manager decided to confront me about this review instead of doing what any professional would do and apologize for the bad food and try and do better. This man is very unprofessional and thinks he can start arguments with customer who don't post positive reviews. He then followed me to my workplace to continue being unprofessional. Get help. Review: No one knows how to make a coffee properly. Its either too hot, too cold, bitter as hell or bland and tasteless. Get training from a real barista! Don't buy food here. Not only is it a complete rip-off, especially for items you can get elsewhere for half the price, but it's not even that good. Do better
Consistently the best Coffee I can find in the CBD. Service is top tier. Food is really good. Atmosphere is great, it’s busy, bustling, and they have an on to it team, who always make you feel welcome. But the star of the show is absolutely the coffee. Recommend.
Just ducked in for a quick bite on the go Can’t remember the names of the two things I got, but one was like a cheese scone, but way better! And the vanilla custard slice was very good too, but not my favorite. Great place though and I would go again
the opera cake was perfect, not too sweet but the service was a bit slow despite there not being a lot of customers at the time
I ordered salad and it was good, but the atmosphere was a little bit noisy.
I was a regular customer until today, in April 2023, price went up by 8%, I got the minimum wage increased, ok. But June 2023, price went up significantly again. I will not buy a $8.5 almond croissant, it's not cool. Will go to other cafe instead. Recommend taste of Europe in the hutt
My son and I tried the lemon Tart and blueberry tart, and they were lovely. My favorite was the lemon Tart. Lovely staff there. They were closing, but were happy to serve us, which was very much appreciated. Lovely Cafe and great staff.
Friendly staff Good coffee. Sadly, disappointed with our sweets. Coffee and chocolate slice was really dry and the pistachio cake which looked stunning was overpowered with almond We only ate half of each. Perhaps we made the wrong choice on the day.
Just stopped by here for the first time. Everything was so well done and delicious. The salmon gougere was so perfectly balanced, and the chocolate mouse and blueberry tart not too sweet. The coffee also was great. Will be back again asap! I just wish the coffee was t served in a takeaway cup.
