“Came here for opening on Saturday and we were blown away by the experience! Very happy with what Bruce and Leanne have done and an absolute testament to you both! Friendly service, food quality was excellent - drinks prices even more so too!”
“I had my 21st birthday party at Stonefields Public House and it was absolutely amazing! When I started planning months ago, the staff were so friendly and helpful when I came in to ask about hosting a 21st. The function space on the terrace was beautiful and could fit a large number of people. Their minimum spend for functions was so reasonable. I organised the catering and logistics over email, and they were so helpful and made the process of selecting food and drinks so easy. On the night they were so amazing, they helped us set up the space, the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. We had our own bar in the space which was so cute. They were so accommodating with what we wanted. I made a playlist that they played over the speakers in the function space, and set up a photo slideshow to show on the TVs in the space as well. Honestly, I had the best 21st ever and they are the reason for it! 6 stars out of 5!!!”
“The food here is amazing and my favourite dish was the crispy wonton, very flavorful! Love the cosy and warm ambience. The servers were friendly. Happy customer and will definitely be back again!”
“The molten chocolate was an absolute delight warm, rich, and perfectly paired with creamy vanilla ice cream. The fresh strawberries and pistachio crumbs added a lovely balance of flavour and texture. Having this dessert in the beautiful surroundings of Mission Bay made it even more enjoyable. A moment where good food and a beautiful place came together perfectly.”

“Arrived in Wellington Sunday morning for a movie premiere and decided to have pre drinks, excellent customer service and friendly staff. NZ Actors FREDRICK POKAI & MARRIS COLLINS”
“We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”
“We had the most amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Perfect location just a bus ride into the city which leaves from outside. The room was perfect exactly what we needed and the bed was so comfortable. The food in the restaurant/bar was amazing and extra points for the good Guiness which my partner said was the best one he’s had in New Zealand!! Top class service and hospitality, shoutout to the manager who really engaged with us throughout our trip and who was always up for a chat, he took care of everything we needed throughout our trip and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend staying here to everyone traveling to Christchurch and would love to return again.”
“Great place to have fun weekend with live music, food & drinks.”
“I do regular photoshoots for Fat Eddie’s & can’t recommend them enough. Great team, awesome vibe, & a bar that always knows how to put on a good night. Makes my job easy and fun every time.”
“Fantastic food and highly respectful wait staff. I loved the Bombay chicken... It was absolutely out of this world. The best part is that you can get Uber eats from this establishment! For the best curry in Christchurch I would say that Corianders is the place to go. They have a superb range of gluten free options.”
