   As we were on this side of town, we decided to try this place for lunch first time. There were a lot of people in the bar. There were a private function going on. We were greeted by a big welcome smile from a female staff. Decided to try their lunch specials and didn't have to wait too long for our meals. My wife had the chicken pasta. It was wonderfully tasty. My Cheese burger with chips was Ok. Both meals were $15. Even though there was a private function going on, both the male and female staff came in different times to asked if things are ok. Exceptional service. Meals good, services were excellent. Will come back to try more of their meals on the menu.

   Enjoyed our weekend dinner there! Service was very efficient and friendly. The food prices were fair and it was a very nice jovial atmosphere. Clearly this is a place where friends and families meet up for a shared meal! We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The mushroom halloumi burger was on my mind for days!

   We were recommended by a load of people to the The Bealey when asking about going to a pub. We had a really lovely experience, with classic pub food - opting for burgers as there was a Tuesday $20 special on. Recommend asking to sit out on the deck in the restaurant for this coming summer, there was decent cover and the last of the days sun sent the beers down easy. The fry on the fish, chicken and chips for the burgers was actually perfect, and made for a pretty great dinner. Chef could be a smidgen heavier on the seasoning, and would love to see citrus with the fish burger to make this a truly classic pub fish dish. We'll absolutely be back to try some more meals, as they have a lot of amazing Glutenfree choices too.

   Classic pub style food - the group ordered a pizza, a burger and steak. All meals were really nice, and there were plenty of good looking options on the menu. The service was some of the best I've had in a long time. Not only did the waitress patiently give helpful answers to all my questions, they also asked about dietary requirements which I thought was amazing (as I had never been asked this at a restaurant before). This is definitely a high ranking restaurant for me in both service and meal quality.

   Food quality at an unbelievable price!! Does this make sense to the market these days? Every Thursday from 5:00 pm, the special deal steak is only $20. I couldn't believe it when my friend told me, but I went and tried it and it was even more amazing. Everything from the tender steak, crisp chips, and salad was perfect. The sauce wasn't bad. Next time I go, I'll eat without the sauce. LOL The staff was nice and I felt sorry to ask for anything because it was so cheap. My friend said that the mussel dish was so delicious, I really want to try it. The atmosphere is great because the bar and the restaurant are separated, and the atmosphere looks great with the terrace space. The parking space is also large, so parking is convenient. I highly recommend it. I really appreciate your service ❤️

   Great place to meet up with friends. I booked online and asked for a quiet table as two of our party had hearing issues. We were pleasantly surprised to have this request net. Staff were helpful with our coeliac attendant. Highly recommend

   WE went for breakfast, on a Friday, the place was very quiet only one other couple in the restaurant part where we were. I had the Salmon bagel and my husband had bacon eggs benne. I've really got to say that I was very impressed with my breakfast. Nicely toasted bagel and lots of smoked salmon, everything worked well on the plate the salmon and the spinach, cream cheese, capers and pesto, was the nicest breakfast I've had in a long time, so well done. My husband said the bacon was very tasty but wasn't fussed on the sauce on his eggs. Overall was very nice, we will be back.

   Great place for a pub meal and a pint! Found on the northeast corner of the central business district, it’s popular with the locals and very convenient to the string of hotels on Bealey Avenue. We arrived mid afternoon and had our choice of tables but it was getting much more crowded by the time we left. We had the $22 steak daily special, and it was delicious. It came stacked on fries with a sunny side up egg on top. A local sitting at the bar had his dog sleeping peacefully under his stool. Good place!

   I was here for dinner last night with a party of 7. I've been here a few times for events and it's always a challenge parking but the meals are generous and pretty good all round in terms of a menu to please a group. It was quite busy however the food was really good, except the ribs starter (which had been recommended to us by a former employee actually). They were very cold, pretty tasteless and not good at all. However I give 4 stars based on the rest of the experience. The staff, in particular Holly was really good at looking after us and making us feel that the 1 poor dish was not a reflection of the whole experience. We'll definitely be going again. Thank you team!

   We went for lunch yesterday on that warm sunny day and it was nice to have the option to choose to either sit inside or out in the sun. The meal was delicious and I left feeling very fall! Stuff very friendly and polite. I absolutely love the deco in the restaurant
