   I had a very unpleasant experience at the front desk when applying for a membership card. The staff member assisting me, a woman who appeared to be of Malaysian background, had an extremely rude and dismissive attitude towards customers of Asian appearance. Despite being Asian herself, her attitude towards Asian-looking customers was noticeably worse, which made me feel uncomfortable and discriminated against. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in customer service and frankly embarrassing. It reflects very poorly on the business.

   Today 23/12/2025 at 10.15pm one of your arrogant female staff at Monza bar refused me to give take away box for pizza. I finished minevvespa but my Mum aged 66 couldn't finished her Margarita pizza so I requested a takeaway box which was refused upon request which clearly shows that staff like her love showing her power to customers and has no empathy and respect towards elderly which is a shame. She had couple of slices and entire pizza you guys are happy to throw in the bin but you dont want us to take home and eat. Shame on ya

   A Compact and small Casino , plenty of poker machines, and a handful of tables on main floor, Executive Lounge on upper floor with own entrance. Like a lot of buildings in Christchurch, they are undertaking Seismic Strengthening, so some stairwells and areas and blocked off - reducing the floor print, but not the gaming experience! Although the reduced Cafe size, felt like it was in the pokie lounge! Upstairs Monza Sports bar overlooks main floor, for a different feel!

   I dropped my wife off to have fun on the pokies for a few hours. When I returned to pick her up she suggested having a meal in the Casino Cafe. We ordered our meals and drinks then found a table. The drinks were delivered quite quickly. The meals took a bit longer. Both were warm at best with chips being cold. It way only about 3.30pm so not very busy. The counter staff were taking there breaks so no one to complain to. This has put us off Casio dining.

   They serve a selection of small plate that then sate my appetite and they have alcohol to help wash that all down. The interior is absolutely stunning as well. The bar creates a very warm atmosphere

   This review is about the restaurant in the casino, and not the casion itself, which seems good. I ordered the blue cod fish and chips for lunch. It included a small salad which is the best part of the dish. The salad is fresh and had a nice dressing. The chips were OK, but the fish was a bit disappointing as it didn't taste anywhere as nice as blue cod from other places. The fish was a bit mushy, possibly due to not being fresh. Other dishes looked OK, but need to taste them before making a comment. I also tried the lamb roast on another day, and it wasn't much good. The meat was below average, and the vegetables were overcooked. I have had better lamb elsewhere. Thank you.
