   I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Coriander's Bush Inn was so frustrating, I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment we asked for takeaway boxes, the service spiraled into absurdity. The staff brought one tiny box for four separate dishes — as if we were expected to cram everything into a single container like leftovers from a budget buffet. When we asked again, they returned with one more box and a paper bag, instructing us to mix white rice and biryani together, and to combine rotis and kebabs in the same paper bag. It was insulting — not just to us, but to the food itself. And the final blow? Despite dining in, they refused to honor our Entertainment offer simply because we wanted to take our leftovers home. This was never mentioned beforehand, and felt like a cheap excuse to deny a valid discount. The food may have had potential, but the lack of respect, hospitality, and basic customer service made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Christchurch. If you value dignity and decent treatment, stay far away.

   It was an odd experience. The service was very minimal, and whatever service their was, we were constantly being pushed to buy more. The food was very under par, for our standards obviously as I don't understand some of the other reviews star rating for the food. I definitely think we had food from the previous opening.    Very disappointed, have had takeaways on numerous occasions from here.The lamb in the Vindaloo was tough and had gristle in most pieces. The sauce tasted burnt. The Naan was not fresh, tough and chewy, obviously from earlier in the day.The Butter chicken was fine apart from the two bones my wife took out.Must be new people in here.

   I am not a person to provide reviews however I feel I must. While my preference is to order via delivery, I am always impressed with whatever I order. The quality always impresses me. My entire family absolutely love the food and while we have tried other businesses in Christchurch, none have compared to the quality that Coriander’s provides. The different levels of heat is totally on point, as are the various breads which bring back lots of special memories. Much gratitude to the chefs, management for providing the consistency and quality and ‘feel’ that you provide through your hard work. We are fans and totally recommend!

   Fantastic food and highly respectful wait staff. I loved the Bombay chicken... It was absolutely out of this world. The best part is that you can get Uber eats from this establishment! For the best curry in Christchurch I would say that Corianders is the place to go. They have a superb range of gluten free options.

   Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Christchurch. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in this restaurant . Specially the duty manager was so welcoming and friendly.Highly recommend!

   Food is between OK to good , I like their entree, the chicken was very tendered unlike some other places it can be quite dried. The prawns are big and really fresh too, we had prawns in platter and one of the curry. Also tried their stuffed naan, very tasty too. However, the customer service is disappointing. We got there at 5.15pm asked for a table for 4 adults and 1 toddler with high chair. We were first given a 4 seats table, the waiter wanted to squeeze the high chair on one side of the table between the 2 seats. When asked to put the high chair on the shorter side of the table, he said it'll block the table nearby, even though there's literally no one in the restaurant apart from us, but OK, so we asked to be seated on a 5 seats table. He then said, that's a 5seats table! What is the problem with 4 adults with 1 toddler needing a 5 seats table? Especially when there's literally NO ONE else in the restaurant. We were given the 5 seats table in the end, and there were no other tables in the restaurant before we finished our meals and left. We didn't feel welcome by the first waiter at all, he gave bad impression about the place. I rated it a three stars instead of one, because the later waiter and waitress who served our meals were nice. The quality of your staff is too wide ranging, it's time to standardise it.
