“Amazing, friendly and Pawsome! I mean i can't talk highly enough of the team at Paws!.. I've been meaning to write this review for a while as Willow has been going for years. Willow loves coming to see the team, she has her favourite openers (Becs and Tams) she went from snoring in the back seat this week to full of excitement to see the team. The team are super friendly and always listen to any requests we have about our precious little one. It sets my day up perfectly seeing how Willow gets so excited to see the team and her doggy friends too! I know she's most likely in for a better day than I am lol As always, a big thank you to Jan and her team :)”

“Excellent support, Great communication and a Fantastic Result. Back in 2008 Hamish secured us a great price selling my first home . This allowed us to go on and build my larger next home. Now 15 years later when we decided to sell our home I was straight back in touch with Hamish. We didn't know much at all about the process of selling and buying homes. “First time there yesterday - what an awesome facility! Dogs had a blast! Was wonderful for mildly reactive dog to have her own space & time to just have fun. Puppy was great with trying the agility equipment. And our senior gent did his usual wander around enjoying the smells. We will definitely be back.”

“Just ate at the cafe. Wood fired pizza was excellent, enjoyed a Greek Salad. A nice place to spend the evening, and have a drink after a day of hiking. A beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the drive. Would definitely pop round again!”

“Was my first time on a overnight hike. Went with the family and really enjoyed it. Took 3.5hrs to walk up from by krangahake gorge(ohinewai fal). Amazing views, river walks and many waterfalls to see. Even got to see glow worms at night. Didn't stay in hut as was fully booked but stayed in tents which made it more amazing.”

“The apartment was an unexpected pleasure to stay in. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and the service was an A+. I enjoyed eating over the road and could not resist trying the highly recommended fish from the nearby wharf. To our surprise, as we did not realize the sea in front of the Silos was so tidal, when we turned the lights out we could people spearfishing under headlamps just in front. Amazing.”

“We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Awa Retreat, what a lovely place to stay, the hosts Cathy and Murray are so friendly it is like meeting old friends, the apartment is clean and tidy and has all the comforts of home, the breakfasts are beautiful and the wild bird life just outside the property is just delightful. The location right beside the Mighty Waikato River is perfect, a stroll along the walkway was very relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the native trees flourishing in this pretty spot. We are happy to recommend Awa Retreat and will stay again next time we come to Hamilton. Thank you Cathy and Murray for opening your lovely home to us. Cheers Joanne and Peter”

“Clint Prior took over as property manager of my rental unit in late 2023 and remained in this role until I relocated in September 2025. As someone who rented for over 15 years (and through Ray White Hamilton for 14 of those years), I can easily say that Clint is the best property manager I have ever had. Clint makes a genuine effort to respect the privacy and wellbeing of tenants, ensure that properties are well-maintained, and that improvements/repairs are conducted as quickly as possible and with minimal interruption. His feedback during property inspections was always reasonable and considered. I can say, without hyperbole, that Clint sets an exceptionally high standard that other property managers should aspire to work towards.”

“It’s not often that a place you stay at ticks all the boxes, theres always something wrong or a bit weird, but not here. The Breakfast provided (with home made elements and local produce from growers markets) was excellent, the beds and pillows were great and super comfy (this is something I often find disappointing at hotels) , and the bathrooms were just like a 5 star luxury hotel. John and Kay + their friendly dogs were the perfect hosts, and in a way it was like staying with friends. They provided a cot and high chair for our 9 month old baby, plus made the main area safe for him to roam around in (and tolerated his yelling throughout the night) The surrounding bushland and the serenity emanating from it cannot be accurately described, just book a few nights here and experience it for yourself!”
