“Our favorite stop for a hearty meal after a very long day. Good portion sizes and tasty food. Their fish and chips was beautifully done as well.”
“One of the best Chinese restaurants in Chch, really recommended “Kung Pao Chicken” and “Small potato big dish Chicken ””
“Ordered tons of food for a party of 12 and the bill came up to $18 per person, which I thought was cheap for the amount of food. I don't know what this is called, but definitely give it a try, it's some sort of deep fried bread stick wrapped in rice noodle sheet (I think) - whoever invented this is genius.”
“Best Fish & Chip shop in city. Heaps of Chinese options, along with the standard Fish n Chips. Phone your order in, and will be ready on arrival. Best value portions I've ever found anywhere - always heaps of food, and always sooooo tasty and fresh. It's a takeaway shop, and pretty basic decor etc, but don't let that put you off. We go at least once a month, and wouldn't go anywhere else. 2 Fish, 1 scoop chips costs around $13/$14 - don't order extra chips as you wont get through them there's so much provided in a scoop.”
“Excellent value for money, the food is hot and fresh. Tastes great! I really enjoy the black bean beef stir fry. Would reccomend giving this place a try if you haven't already.”
“It was a hidden gem to me! This one lace serves delicious foods and desserts! The staffs are friendly and understanding. The food was served pretty quick compared to other Chinese restaurants. The place is very crowded most of the time because of the food quality and vibe. Convenient location, heaps of parking at church corner. Highly recommended and we surely will visit again.”
“We had roast duck noodle soup for take away. The chef had all ingredients ready waiting for my arrival. He started putting everything into take away box as soon as he knew I was there to pick up. This was to preserve the crisp of the duck skin and limit the noodles drying up the soup. Staff was extra careful in packing to prevent soup leaking. The interior design of this restaurant is simple yet traditional Chinese. The duck noodle soup was tasty and authentic, I'm sure it would be even better if we dined in. Still very good after coming back many times.”
“Authentic Taiwanese street food, good menu selections, really nice chilly sauce. Taiwanese owner operated. Love all the dishes we ordered, quick table service. Good bubble tea with well cooked bubbles, the largest size is humongous!!. Nice little shop. Moderate pricing. Highly recommend!”

“Went here a few times and still my favourite. Its abit far from my place but i guess the food is worth for me to travel here. The taste is just nice. I usually order extra spicy. I got to try new dish of brown sugar with fried cake and its nice. Would like to try their caramelised kumara the next time. They played very nice music too. Love the vibe. Only 1 thing is the fish which i try for the first time is abit over grilled/fried so its abit dry. Other than that everything is excellent.”
“We have been here about 10ish times now since moving into the area, if you are after a good classic kiwi chinese takeaway that will feed the whole fam, don't look any further! their fried rice dishes in particular are honestly on par if not better than ive had in many sit down restaurants and their sweet and sour pork hits the spot every time! Not the mention the service is on point and they are always quick!”
