   We went there to have yum cha and dim sums. They didn't have the trolley going around. We ordered a combination fried rice and a pork and veggies over rice. It was quite average and not very tasty. The tea had no flavour and was like just hot water. Won't go back.

   Just recently had a sweet and sour pork and braised fish fillet. Was the most atrocious food served. Visually, the food looked quite appetizing, the sweet and sour pork came out as large round fried balls but was filled with very floury batter. It had quite a bitter after taste and had pork that was no bigger than the size of your pinky fingernail. The bitter, floury batter overpowered the taste and the cheapest and smallest cut of pork was undetectable when chewed. (The photo below shows the size of pork inside the huge batter) I would say sweet and sour pork that's sold in foodcourt malls are far more enjoyable than this. The braised fish was no different. Firstly it wasn't braised but came out fried in batter. Similar with sweet and sour pork, the thick batter covered the fish with a lingering bitter aftertaste. I personally don't like wasting food and always finish food that I order. But we could not finish both the meals, and was extremely disappointed. I wouldn't come back even if someone paid me to have their food. I can confidently say that this is probably the worst Chinese food I've had in my 37 year lifetime. This restaurant is a perfect example of owners trying to maximize thier profits by lowering their quality of ingredients used. Perhaps, we were unlucky with the food selection, but regardless won't be coming back. If I could give 0 ⭐ I would. But I would say 0.5 ⭐ out of 5 as at least the ladies serving the food has been polite.

   If you like authentic Chinese food, you can eat here, the price is what you expect in Christchurch. I had lunch and dinner there because the Chinese dim sum for lunch was really good and the portion was good.

   Cheap Chinese Treat. If you want a no frills good quality Chinese meal than this is the place. So many chinese food varieties are available. This is economical restaurant not too costly. Service was good and fast. Restaurant is very Spacious and have very good interior. This place is perfect for family/group lunch or dinner. If you decide to have Chinese food than go to this place and treat yourself.

   Ordered tons of food for a party of 12 and the bill came up to $18 per person, which I thought was cheap for the amount of food. I don't know what this is called, but definitely give it a try, it's some sort of deep fried bread stick wrapped in rice noodle sheet (I think) - whoever invented this is genius.
